Even if it's a 1:1 currency conversion and this costs £70, that's far from cheap but not unreasonable. When I think that a £60-odd lego set might take us a few hours, the starter pack or whatever it's called feels like it's more time for your money. And that's the thing with the kids -- it's about the time making it in the first place and messing around with it, not whether we'll ever play with them again.

I think it's perfect. My first reaction on the video was 'Showing this video to my 8yo is going to blow her mind' and I now can't wait for that.

Good job Nintendo didn't give up and just make PSBone sequels.

I think it's great that we finally see what the IR camera is for. This has obviously been in development for a good while and it was always the plan.

You just know that tomorrow morning Microsoft's games development team is going to get a massive delivery of boxes and an order to have a product ready to go for Christmas.

Imagine the MS version, using only premium 8K cardboard to build full size Forza car replicas £45k a pop.

Labo is a great idea.

For $10.

They are taking the piss with $70!

You get the games as well. The robot game is the Giant Robo project by Miyamoto. As someone said earlier it's been in development for several years now, so is likely to be fully fleshed out.

Can you play it without the game?

The cardboard to build the suit is probably adding $10 to the price, just like you said yourself...

With the amount of games Nintendo are putting out (not many), they need to concentrate on bead and butter not bullshit like this.

Where is my Fzero and Wave Race FFS!

They've been releasing at least one or more first party game every month. Third party support is growing and Indies are reporting great sales. The Switch isn't successful for no reason.

I got Zelda, arms, splatoon and Mario all on day one of release and I’m still playing them all. Who needs more?

Don't get me wrong, love Mario Odyssey, BOTW and Mario Kart 8 (had the foresight to sell off my wiiU and resist the temptation).

I just want more mainstream AAA or even AA or A Nintendo goodness.

All I see is B and C list filler.

Thats a fair call. My issue is that I don’t have the time I want to our to the AAA games as they have so much play time in them.

Each to their own. I'd hardly call ARMS, Splatoon, Mario + Rabbids and Xenoblade as B or C list filler.

I'm sure they'll be keeping stuff back for E3 and beyond, and we already know of at least four games coming out; Kirby, Yoshi, Mario Tennis and Fire Emblem. Rumours abound for Smash Bros and Animal Crossing, and of course there's Pokemon and Metroid Prime 4. Unlikely they'll be out this year but not entirely out of the question.

They should have pooped out a Smash DX last year. So many missed bonus sales just like mario kart!

Hasn't this been a problem and criticism with AAA games for a while though, that they all come crammed out at the same time? I think their strategy so far has been good to give each game space to breathe. The only slight misfire was ARMS which perhaps came out a bit too close to Splatoon, the player base for the latter taking away from the former. With Splatoon, Mario and Zelda all coming out last year Smash would have been overkill.

I think the timing for Arms was alright, although they should have had a Testpunch ready back in March when people only had Zelda. It's done alright, anyway, and has a steady cult following. My favourite original game from last year by miles, and has reinvigorated my love for vs. fighting.

Yeah, the Splatoon, ARMS, Mario Kart triple hit was a big mistake.

If anything, they should have held ARMS off and released Smash instead.

ARMS would have done much better releasing this month...

Stupid Nintendo.  They didn't mean to break any records.
