to be fair it's not a that bad, just a bit uncomfortable and the rumble could be better (although the firmware updates help ALOT).

 

The pro pad is still much better. Can't see me going back to the snes pad unless i desperately need to.

Does The Mummy Demastered feel a bit laggy for anyone else? I'm playing with a Pro controller and the input seems delayed. Will try it out in docked mode later today.

I can imagine it being quite nice to use in the hand, but it's a real headache to look at. If they'd given it a flat grey face and horizonal start/select buttons like their non-analogue pad it would have been fine. But as it stands...

Yeah but you have to have a wire trailing across the room. I think there's a way of enabling Bluetooth with a USB adaptor for certain types of headphones. The official PS4 ones work strangely enough.

Does that mean the ps4 headsets work too? Haven't bothered trying it tbh as I don't use them generally other than chatting to people but would be good to know.

Yeah that's what I meant, the official PS4 headset works but I can't remember what you need to do to enable it.

It's says for using it undocked you'll need a USB C adaptor for the Switch. Great for TV play though.

The PS4 headset just comes up as a standard USB stereo headset with a microphone for most devices, I reckon the Switch should work with any old USB dongled headset.

They look great. Are they painted? If so, has there been any sign of wear yet? Looks like at least £150 for a set based on the Etsy listing I saw.  I’d want them to last a while for that kind of money.

they are beautifully finished and I believer spray painted and no sign of wear at all - though in truth I mostly play with it docked on a pro controller.

I had a go on one of the Nintendo wired Switch pads, and found it a bit odd. The thumbsticks are weirdly tall, really long travel on them. Reminded me of using an old fat Xbox pad a bit, although it seemed like a decent controller overall. How do the sticks on the Pro compare?

It's just normal length I think, pretty similar to PS4 or Xbox One.

Which wired pad? I didn't think there was a Nintendo one. They're a bit longer than the joycon ones.
