Another email from Nintendo saying I have points that are going to expire. Then when I log on to their website everything you can buy with them is crossed out? FFS Ninty get it together.

If I buy a second switch can I download all my current digital games onto it?  I am thinking about taking back the DSXL I got my daughter and just getting her a switch instead as she is never off it, got a feeling the DS will never be used.  Ideally I want to share all the games I have already, and also be able to play together on rocket league etc?

 

Would that work?

Yes and No.

 

You can transfer everything from your current Switch to a new one, but it will *transfer* so you won't end up with the content on two machines no. Your account (and the content tied to it) can only be active on one Switch at a time.

You need to do a full transfer from one to the other each time.

Oh well, DSXL for her then!  Annoying I hadnt foreseen this and went with physicla copies that could be easily shared between machines.

Damn the Yooka Laylee port is pretty top notch. Looks great in portable mode. DF analysis of it shows that quite a bit of care and attention was put into it, altered settings, reworked geometry etc. Not a quick job by any means.

The machine is region free. I have a second user account on my Switch with the region set to South Africa. Credit cards work fine for purchases. Games work for all users. You can create or amend your accounts at accounts.nintendo.com 

 

Note: If you have any credit on your account and switch the region it will be erased.

I have UK, US, JPN and South African accounts on mine. Once you buy the game you can play it with any account on the system. US and JPN credit I buy from Play Asia. The South African account takes my Barclaycard

Considering the age of that game, and how badly it’s aged (in my opinion) we get a bunch of requests for bringing it over to Switch and back on Steam.
