Captain Kelsten
It's broken all the links for some reason, @deKay 37 minutes ago, Benny said: Also Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is S tier. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the best version of the best Mario kart, but if you played it on Wii u, it's just a remaster. I would recommend anyone who gets a switch to get it, naturally, as it's amazing, but not in the same way as Odyssey and BotW, imo. 24 minutes ago, Stanley said: And ARMS is easily A tier. Do you not know what subjective means?
the_debaser
Arms, like Smash Bros before it, is proof that Nintendo just cannot do fighting games.

Jolly
On the subject of dodgy controllers, after having to send back two different right hand Joy Cons (neon blue and Splatoon pink) and still not feeling totally convinced that everything works all of the time, I've just taken to pulling a chair right up close to the TV stand. It's a testament to how good the Switch is that despite all this palaver, I still love it to bits.
geldra
Properly looking forward to Crawl and that Wizard of Legend thingy. Is there a petition I can sign to get Spelunky, Nidhogg and Windjammers ported across? Did anyone play Phantom Trigger? Looks nice (except for the bleh enemies) but is pretty dissatisfying to play. Shame.
Benny
I'm using a USB pair of headphones and getting some weird buzzing with the sound quality. I'm assuming this is just because it's a poor driver in the last update. Sounds fine in handheld mode. Unless the dock has sound issues?

Same here, at least in vertical mode. I have short fingers, so adding the strap rail makes them too deep to hold comfortably. Straps are good for horizontal play, though - they definitely help the shoulder buttons.

Popular Post CheekyLee
Everything people have said about the Pro Controller is true. Just like everything they said about the Switch itself was. This console has yet to disappoint me, it has completely lived up to all the hype. I mean, I wouldn't have entertained the idea of Xenoblade Chronicles II on PS4, but the knowledge that I'll be able to play it on the train means that potential grind doesn't scare me at all. There are so many games that I wouldn't touch on a big console because I know I'd get a few hours out of them before moving on, and yet I find myself thinking back at games I avoided over the last few years thinking "That would be AWESOME on Switch!" Spelunky? Never really felt the love for it the way everyone else did, but I'd definitely buy a Switch version and actually play it. See also: every single one of those indie games I spent 20 minutes playing when they were the current games media darling because I never got round to loading them a second time. The Talos Priniciple? I want to play it, but I'll never sit in front of a big screen long enough. Give me a portable version, though, and I'm probably there till the end. And I know I'm not alone in this. Housemarque would triple their sales to date for Nex Machina if they ported to Switch, I'm sure of it. I never bought Overcooked because I knew I'd never get to play it 2-player local. I got the Switch version because I'm absolutely sure that at some point I'll have someone near enough to me with enough time to say "Let's give it a go!"

Benny
BotW has now "opened up". I wasn't convinced at first, but now I'm in love. I want to post in the Zelda thread but I'm afraid of spoilers, so... Spoiler My quest is now not for glory or righteousness, but to find new and interesting ingredients to cook.
robdood
Yeah browsing the store or the 'games coming out next month' vids on youtube there's clearly a ton of garbage already. Spelunky Switch would be so nice, though.

Gotters
I think the store is in danger of becoming like the xbox 360 indie store at its peak, there were a few gems in there but you had to wade thru a million fart simulators to get to them. Choice is good and better than there being a slow trickle of stuff - but it musn’t fill up every Tuesday with shovelware and shite.
