It's broken all the links for some reason, @deKay

Also Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is S tier.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the best version of the best Mario kart, but if you played it on Wii u, it's just a remaster. I would recommend anyone who gets a switch to get it, naturally, as it's amazing,  but not in the same way as Odyssey and BotW, imo.

And ARMS is easily A tier.

Do you not know what subjective means?

On the subject of dodgy controllers, after having to send back two different right hand Joy Cons (neon blue and Splatoon pink) and still not feeling totally convinced that everything works all of the time, I've just taken to pulling a chair right up close to the TV stand. It's a testament to how good the Switch is that despite all this palaver, I still love it to bits.

Properly looking forward to Crawl and that Wizard of Legend thingy. Is there a petition I can sign to get Spelunky, Nidhogg and Windjammers ported across?

Did anyone play Phantom Trigger? Looks nice (except for the bleh enemies) but is pretty dissatisfying to play. Shame.

I'm now very close to buying a Switch Pro controller despite potentially faffing with repairing the Joycon, as I've been finding them uncomfortable for long stretches in Zelda anyway. You win this round, Nintendo.

Is that with or without the extra strap things? I find them unusable with the straps attached!

I see the Xenoblade 2 version is in stock though so maybe I should just get that one.

You can buy a wireless USB thing that will let you play with a DS4 or the Xbox 360/One controllers.

£19.99. Worth an experimental go before shelling out big bucks.

Split style with the straps attached is perfect for me I’ve found. It’s knocked a pro controller off my essentials list.

Same here, at least in vertical mode. I have short fingers, so adding the strap rail makes them too deep to hold comfortably. Straps are good for horizontal play, though - they definitely help the shoulder buttons.

TOO LATE.

Spoiler

I'm actually really looking forward to trying out this fabled Pro controller.

BotW has now "opened up".

I wasn't convinced at first, but now I'm in love.

I want to post in the Zelda thread but I'm afraid of spoilers, so...

Spoiler

My quest is now not for glory or righteousness, but to find new and interesting ingredients to cook.

I think the store is in danger of becoming like the xbox 360 indie store at its peak, there were a few gems in there but you had to wade thru a million fart simulators to get to them.

Choice is good and better than there being a slow trickle of stuff - but it musn’t fill up every Tuesday with shovelware and shite.
