Arse biscuits! Just tried Doom and the tiny version gives me motion sickness too!! What is about the motion in this game my brain (and stomach) can’t handle.

Technically very impressive though. Guess I’m somehow destined never to play it.

Received my Lamicall stand today too. It’s cute as fuck.

I get motion sickness on loads of games on all different systems, to varying degrees of severity. Jak and Daxter on PS4 was so bad I was literally dripping with sweat. Played Mario Odyssey all morning in handheld mode and I was fine. Within 10 minutes of playing it on the TV I felt sick.

Turn off motion blur and smoothing in the options and try it again

Skyrim is out on Friday and Sainsburys are doing their ‘double up’ nectar points promotion until the 21st. I wasn’t going to bother getting it, but hard to resist for ‘free’

I've got to go to town Saturday, use my car in Sainsburys and then go back Sunday to get my double up voucher, they won't let you use it if you have not used the card in that store within the last 12 months, need to get working through the £360 on that sodding Nectar card though :P
Just a struggle to decide what to get though, too many games at the minute :)

Sorry to hear that, I know how you feel. I avoid FPSes or anything like them completely because of motion sickness issues. And to be honest, I feel queasy just at the thought of ever trying PSVR or any other sort of VR headset.

Two bits of news. First Worms W.M.D is coming to switch and will be 20 quid on 23rd November. Runs at 1080p 60fps so no worries there. Secondly, Switch sold 80,000 units last week in japan and is still supply constrained. Mario shifted another 70,000 copies as well. At current average selling rate it could pass the PS4 sometime around spring to summer next year. It could well beat the WiiU's japan total by the end of the year provided they can get enough units on shelves.

Just realised Lego Marvel 2 is out tomorrow. Reviews are about what you'd expect for a Lego game and it doesn't sound like it's changed up the formula but perfect for the kids. I've always thought Lego games are perfect for handheld but  TT have only ever released fully gimped DS and VIta versions in the past. Another one on the shopping list :)

It's out in the US but I don't think it's out in Europe/UK until 1st December unfortunately (assuming you aren't in the US!)

Intrigued to see Arms getting a 4.0 release, and Bomberman R getting a 2.0. I've been off the mainstream console gaming scene for ages - is this sort of post-release support typical now, given that games have a long tail via digital distribution, or is this unusual? I'm used to things just being shipped then abandoned.

Nintendo seem to support their eshort games pretty well.I think Arms and Splatoon 2 was supposed to get 1-2 years worth of content.

Bomberman R is a surprise, but seems Konami have gone from releasing a mediocre game to a must have. I will buy it sometime..

DF report on the switch version of skyrim and it's a very good port indeed. Some settings close to PS4 version but with draw distance and foliage amount dialled down. Maintains a solid 30fps in both docked and undocked. Resolution is also good at 900p docked and dynamic 720p undocked. So yeah a good solid port.

Was thinking the same, but the comments about the online being dead puts me off a bit.
