I’m about to get a SD card but 250gb ones are still a bit expensive... is it easy to transfer games from one SD to another?

I got a 128gb and I have sixty games on it. Still only 70% full, plus most of the internal memory remaining.

Is there anything on the horizon for TV apps on the Switch? Like Netflix, Now TV, Amazon that kind of thing?

I hope not. I like the fact that the Switch is a games console. Most people these days have Netflix etc. on everything - it's on my TV, set-top box, PC, blu-ray player. I don't think it's necessary on the Switch.

Funnily enough, when Netflix was spoke about earlier in the thread I thought “That’s awesome I’ll be able to watch Netflix in bed” completely forgetting I already can on my Phone, iPad, Laptop etc. But choose not to.

I agree so far the Switch seems to be a games console, for the gamers and I’d like to see it stay that way.

Don’t install the apps then?

If there’s enough people that will actually use it fair enough but I like that the Switch is “A Games console” and not an absolute clusterfuck of menus and rubbish to find what you want

Yeah it's not like you have to install them for me it would enable me to get rid of the xbox and create some space under the television.

No, no, no. I can imagine a situation where my missus is watching something on Netflix I'm not that interested in, so I decide to play a bit of Mario in handheld mode, only..

It's a recipe for disaster.

Seems EA are dropping (was it ever really there in the first place?) for upto a year to see how things work out.

Also, so many games are requiring memory cards now. LA Noire requires something like 16GB, WWE is 24GB, Doom is 20GB+, Resident Evil Revalations is 15GB+.

Can't see this turning out well. Would be nice to be able to use a HD on a docked switch but it does seem like i might need to get a decent sized memory card soon.

Hoping Rocket League squeezes onto my Switchs internal memory though.

doom is 20gb! Is this just the single player? Might have to cancel the pre-order!

m2 shottriggers (dangun feveron, battle garegga, ketsui, Mahou Daisakusen) possibly getting switch ports? - http://www.retrogameboards.com/t/m2-possibly-hinting-at-shottriggers-on-switch/301

If you don't know m2, their ports are always flawless. This is good news if it's true, it could be a mobile phone that guy is holding so don't get too excited. I'm still holding out hope that it's a tiny pc.

This would be brilliant, the tate mode on Strikers works a dream (just need to sort out a decent stand solution). Hopefully the Switch will amass a decent selection of shmups.

Any news on any other Psikyo shooters on their way? I'm hoping for Gunbird 2.

I still like a browser for the Switch, its not going to happen due to exploits. However, I'm in the camp of apps for the Switch. Sure its a games console but at the end of the day when I finished playing I wouldn't mind chilling and watch some youtube or netflix when in bed. Its the form factor which makes it so great that I like to use it for more than just playing games.

I'm sure it will get apps eventually but for now it's nice just to have a pure games console, where the only reason to turn it on is to play them.

I've already got Netflix on every other device I own, so it's really not necessary.

Yes. You can play single player straight from the cart without downloading anything.

Cheers. I’m all digital (apart from Zelda which I keep meaning to sell and repurchase digitally). Any idea if the download is the full package, or if we’ll have a single player only download option?

Good question. I'm guessing it will just download the single player and then offer the multi up separately.

Just tried the Puyo Puyo & Tetris demo... reminds me why I need to get a Pro Controller or two as playing Tetris games with an analogue stick is an exercise in mass frustration.

That's one game where the 'd-pad' really shines. No use for 2p though.

I’ve only tried to log in to the eshop twice, and both times didn’t because I’ve got a 1Password generated one I couldn’t be bothered to type in.

Will it remember my password, or do I have to type it in every time for access, purchases, etc?
