Hmmm, not sure it's worth the hassle if the repair doesn't make much difference.

 

It's not the end of the world and they are only really the extra controllers for multiplayer.

 

I've had no issues at all with the pro controller or the newer Joy-Con.

Was using the split joycon for two player MK8 shenanigans last night, really very impressed with how capable they are. I’ve got big hands and found them fine. I wouldn’t want to use them all day, but a real surprise.

 

Of course I managed to stick one of the grips on upside-down first. :sherlock:

My bloody Mrs, said to her this morning that I had a package coming between 9:59 and 10:59 today, can she make sure she listens out for the door. Get a message at 11:15 saying “You’ve got a card here, I missed the package”

 

Probably got distracted by a cloud or something. No Pro Controller for me until Monday :(

I had totally forgotten about it as I got the Splatoon Joy-Con and have pretty much only used them or the Pro recently, but today I picked up the neon blue/red to play mario and it disconnected a couple of times in a relatively short period of time.

 

Don't get me wrong, it was like twice - but that's twice more than the Splatoon ones have ever and it's a bit annoying.

 

There's nothing on Nintendo support site about getting replaced - or getting the foam. I've emailed them but wondered if anyones had a repair or done it themselves? Was it easy enough to do?

Me, about a month ago I sent two back. 

 

-Nothing on site 

+Email responded in a few days and said phone up

-Phoned up and they sorted it quickly, sent postage label, sent it over to them and got them both back within a week (pink took longer than black) 

 

Pretty painless

I haven’t felt like this about Nintendo since the snes. I can’t believe how amazing the switch actually has turned out - (after the wii which I owned).

 

the best versions of mario, zelda and mario kart in the first nine months. And versions you can play anywhere. 

 

Nintendo are firing on all cylinders and long may it continue! ❤️

This console is going to be legendary.

 

It it is right in the sweet spot for wii, GameCube and wiiu re-releases / emu.

 

If they released hd remakes of galaxy 1 and 2 , and an inevitable wind weaker release....paper Mario, okami, viewtiful joe, pikmins. Resi evil 4 ? 

 

And bayonetta hd?

if I were them I’d be farming that shit out straight to a factory, get it all released.

 

their new stuff is just outstanding.

 

needs a vertical stand for shmups, got to be easy to implement. But then all the bullet hell shooters !

It's interesting to think we've had the best Zelda and the best Mario in the first year of this console's lifetime. Nintendo are on top of their game in a way they haven't been in maybe twenty years.

 

It might not arrive in the first year, but do you think we will get the hat trick, and the best Metroid ever too?

I've never got metroid don't think I've even tried it since the nes version I played .

 

Personally im  hoping for a pikmin game early next year 

 

my 5 faveourite games if the year and 4 are Nintendo sort of

zelds 

mario 

last gusrdian 

mario rabbids 

and banjo kazooie on Xbox one

It's been a cracking first year for the system, but wait a minute... There are still four full months of it left. Once Xenoblade 2 hits I'm honestly going to be fine until something else major comes along - probably Octopath. I think I'll be skipping Kirby and Yoshi, unless they surprise everyone.
