A lot of the games are still recent releases so in that regard it’s understandable we’re not seeing 50, 60, 70% reductions. I don’t remember the first few months f Bone or PS4 having as good sales as they do now, but that could be my memory being shit. :)

Hmmm. I'm too used to PSN sales but those aren't great are they?

There is some Switch stuff with a higher % off:

Thimbleweed Park - 15%

Disgaea 5 Complete - 17%

Butcher - 20%

Shovel Knight - 20%

Severed - 20%

Lichtspeer - 20%

The Bridge - 25%

BulbBoy - 30%

Phantom Trigger - 50%

Snake Pass - 50%

I’ll get Thimbleweed Park for that, very nearly bought it this week but opted for Steamworld Dig 2. Infact none of the games I’ve bought in my opening week with a Switch are on sale which pleases me (Well, except Isaac and that’s still £12 more expensive than the physical version I bought, in the sale )

3 of the game I bought last week and not yet started are in the sale. I don't feel too bad as the discounts are fairly paltry.

I see the Mummy Demastered is out, anybody tried it?

I was all excited to try it, being the new game from WayForward but fuck the Switch tax. I don't even care if it's "just" an extra £2, I'm not supporting that practice and will just wait until next years Halloween sale I guess. It's not like there isn't anything to play on Friday...

Can't find a confirmed £ price but it's €19.99 same as on the PS4 isn't it?

How is it not a Switch tax? I'm having to pay £2 more for the same product. If it wasn't coming out on the Switch I would have bought it on Xbox for that lower price but now I'm not bothering with either.

Can’t play it on the bus on your PS4 ;)

Because it isn't more expensive *because* of the Switch, otherwise it'd be more expensive in the other regions too.

Despite The Mummy Demastered coming out a day before I hopefully receive Mario and it being a tie-in to a film that I have absolutely no positive attachment to whatsoever, I'm worryingly tempted.

Then comes the review.

9/10!

For fuck's sake.

Fwiw I loved Snake Pass for its originality and thought the difficulty curve mostly matched your increasing mastery of the controls.

Well worth 7.99.

Fair play. Apologies if my earlier post seemed harsh. Good to see another opinion.

Maybe check some other websites? I was on there earlier as I got into the switch lately - and I think their keyboards are broke as every review I looked at bar one started at 6.

although it is way forward and it does look cool. Reminds me of their aliens game.
