Not exactly, I recently bought Cuphead and am enjoying that - it's just that nothing on the eShop really interests me presently. Luckily there's splatoon which is a port worth the cost of entry.

I prefer AAA games. Indie stuff seems more like the sort of stuff I have my phone for. One reason is I'm not a huge fan of retro graphic style (despite growing up on it) and that I don't have enough free time. I never quite understand how some of these things would get a look in when you have Zelda, Splatoon and so on. Most indie games don't come out too well in comparison. But to each their own! There are notable exceptions to my general avoidance of indie games, of course; Inside being one of the best. That's like a AAA experience to me, though. Not some retro graphic side scroller contra light thing.
Jonny5
The retro graphics of most of the indie titles puts me off them, that and I don’t have enough time to play the big titles I’ve got without adding more to the pile.

Oracle
I don't follow? Splatoon 2 is slightly uprezzed splatoon 1 at least for the multiplayer.

Oracle
Don't get me wrong, I love my switch - it takes the best bit about the Wii U and makes it happen everywhere.

It's not hard plastic or anything, just a more robust design with a kind of golf ball dimpled effect. Fifteen quid. https://www.amazon.co.uk/HORI-Switch-Tough-Case-Nintendo/dp/B01MR63I6F

For anyone else looking for deals before Mariodyssey, Game are doing a Switch plus one of Zelda/MK8/Slatoon 2 for £299.99.

Marlew
There have been sales most weeks on various indie games. Plenty of launch discounts, as well, but predominantly for the less well-known titles.

I cannot stop with Stardew Valley, it is extraordinarily compulsive to the level that I need to be really careful about picking up the Switch just for a quick (game) days of farming/mining/fishing/pottering/etc as it invariably leads to me losing another hour or two.
