Oh dear lord, Pokken DX on the switch is brilliant. The game works so well portable and has a lot more content then I expected, especially as that was the big criticism of the Wii U version. This just seems a hell of a lot more polished and it is great so far. Highly recommend, even if you've got the original one on Wii U.

So it's good because it's portable?

So much talk about FPS. Not so much about whether it's fun to play or not :(

Those early impression videos suggest Doom is fun, so I'm optimistic it'll be a worthwhile purchase.

I suppose that as Switch becomes more popular, and more games get ported over, the comparisons are inevitable. However anyone expecting an experience on par, or close to on par, with the Xbone or PS4 experience is in for a shock.

And for the record I think the 60fps v 30fps is just an elitist thing

It very much isn't. Nintendo themselves target 60 FPS with the majority of their action games, Mario Kart, Mario Odyssey, Splatoon etc. It's fundamental to a better gameplay experience.  Nintendo have historically offered the most stable frame rates in their games.

Yeah an the beauty of it is that Nintendo rarely if ever talk about it, because obsessing over numbers ain't much fun.
