Quite happy with the look of super meat boy myself. I was more worried about the music after the superb tunes on the 360 version were changed / ruined (imo) for the later releases. What I heard on the trailer seemed fine though .

Half way through the showcase, and their is much I want to get.  Innovation, colour and fun.

 

And post Sonic Mania one thing is ever more apparent is that even when something is clearly also coming to the PS4 or PC, there is just no way I would buy it for anything other than the Switch. It's just perfect for this stuff.

I think the Meat Boy sequel looks like the Meat Boy Mobile game they said they were working on way back when. The gameplay looks very 'auto-runner'. It would explain the clunky graphics.

 

I suspect when the bottom fell out of the mobile space they retooled it....

 

Still, I suspect it will be a brilliant, minimalist game that people hate because it won't be Meat Boy 2.

Maybe Microsoft are aware that it might struggle on Xbox/PC and considering how the game is not exactly pushing the graphics, they might go down the Minecraft route.
