Help!

my switch has stopped displaying on tv when docked.  It charges fine. But, no hdmi output. I've tried two different HDMI leads, but that didn't help. 90% of my switching is mobile but occasionally I do like to play on the big tv.

I have been on holiday for last 3 weeks, so my switch hasn't been docked in that time

Have you tried a hard reset?

Try:

  1. Take switch out of dock
  2. Unlug all cables from dock
  3. Leave dock disconnected from power for 10 seconds +
  4. Reconnect power
  5. Reconnect HDMI
  6. Plug in Switch

I have had this happen a couple of times with our dev switch link and this usually fixes it. Repeat a few times if necessary.

How do you do that?

I think you just press and hold on the power button (on the switch) until it resets

Having been seemingly one of the lucky few since launch not to have joycon issues, my left one kept disconnecting today. Looks like I'll have to send it back :(

In my limited testing it is very, very sensitive to being near strong wifi sources. I had to move my dock and switch away from our router (at one end of my work desk) to the opposite end of my desk to get it to be able to pick up the joy cons. Works fine now, but it seems the location of the switch is more important than the location of the joycons (as I am using them fine in the middle of my desk while router is far left and switch is far right, whereas before having both switch and router far left meant constant drop outs).

If this hasn't resolved itself, try flipping the USB C lead round. I've had this issue before and despite the fact it shouldn't make a difference, it seemed to fix it

I'm getting all manner of issues with my right joy con at the moment, just to be different. It's my lovely new Splatoon one too so that's rather annoying.

Going to have to experiment with the others in the house to try and figure out what's going on. I had very occasional issues with my grey left joy con at launch but this was a near constant over two hours tonight :(

I'm having the same issue with the neon pink joycon. It's dropping connection all the time. Both sets of red and blue are fine.

Haha might have to do that, Mario kart is weird upside down emoji23.png

It's charging now so we can play on the tv.

Joycons feel great to me (though I play claw so that'll be why emoji23.png).

Don't forget to buy Sonic Mania immediately!
