Strikers has knocked splatoon off the top of the e-shop chart in Japan. I know the Japanese dig their shmups, but still, wow!

 

Also helps that it was reduced to 500 Yen (£3.44 on my bank statement) in release week!

I'm fed up of buying games on other platforms only for a Switch release to be announced shortly after 

 

Stardew Valley, The Sexy Brutale, Severed, and there's a few more too. Haven't had time to play any of them either!

Severed isn't that good so just play it on whatever format you have or already and save yourself £14.

My switch has a crack on the left side from the power button half way down. Never dropped it and I look after it no idea where it came from. Is there a way to send it for repair and not lose my saves

Does it affect usage? I would hope that save transfers are high on Nintendo's list of update priorities at the moment, so if you can live with it for the time being then it might be worth waiting a few months until saves can be uploaded or transferred to SD cards before sending it away to be fixed.

Is that the same contact info for their online store?  I want to return the extra joy-cons which don't work but they've not responded to the message I sent them through their website, and can't see any contact numbers.

They never did it for the Wii, Wii U or 3DS, so don't hold your breath...

I thought if you had a Switch replaced it was possible for them to transfer the saves to the new console? I'm sure I read something about that around launch.

But yeah, in an ideal world we'd have cloud saves. Maybe when the paid online service launches?

It's possible but it seems random as to whether Nintendo will do it or not.

I have a long hard day of cooking today, I was putting the BBQ at 0800 and then getting it all going for a estimated 8 hour cook - I need to remote monitor it but so much to do, games to play and YouTube to watch...

 

 

While I often joking say it’s the best console ever I have to say that by Christmas it could be true what with Sonic and Mario due ohh so soon

Dude, the weapons choice in Salmon Run is awful, today. .58 Gal, sniper rifle AND a mini-gun? Against the glow-worms you're toast by the time you've spun up your mini-gun...

 

Had three games today when we didn't make it past the first run, because it was a fast glow-worm level.

On the flip side I’m loving the weapons today and got my best total at sixty something, know your job depending on the weapon and play as a team and they are all great weapons!

Well, me and my team were scrubs, then.

 

I managed a lot better with the minigun by taking the higher ground and acting as a turret protecting those on the ground. Sploosher - infantry - get stuck in and wipe out the bad guys close up.

The mode is much deeeper than it seems, would love to get my destiny crew all playing on comm!

 

I found early on that personally trying to get the most golden eggs is the easiest way to fail - take out the bosses your gun is best dealing with and protect the eggs if you have a good damage gun like the mini gun so others can collect. If you are sniper paint paths esp on walls but generally don’t get to involved up close etc.

 

I hate the .96 gal today!

My left Joy-Con has stopped working. Just kaput. No power, not being recognised by the console. One day fine and the next not. The prospect of Nintendo tech support is looming like a storm cloud. Thank heavens for the Pro Pad, at least.

Have you tried holding the sync button on the Joy-Con itself? My right Joy-Con appeared to die a couple of weeks ago and wouldn't respond when being charged or attached to the Switch itself, but thankfully came back to life after holding the sync button for a few seconds.
