Can we have one with Mario red and Luigi green joycons?

Is literally what I'm hoping for and have been since launch. Although....

With red and white JoyCon!

This would also be acceptable.

Good to see Capcom releasing RE. It's another cash in but, the first one at least, is a solid entry. I won't be biting as I've got in on the 3ds but I'm sure there'll be plenty of takers on Switch.

Speaking of 3ds ports.. how good would a Switch Kid Icarus be!? I can't think of a better 3ds title (except Ridge, damn you Namco!!) which would absolutely blow minds on this hardware. The graphics would look astonishing on the Switch's screen. An extra bonus would be that I'll finally be able to play the damn thing properly with duel sticks!

A Ridge Racer game would be amazing. A fairly simple arcade racer would be a perfect fit.

PENGUIN WARS IS COMING TO SWITCH!

This is a glorious piece of news. I adored the Gameboy title, it was by a distance the best game I ever played using the link cable. I had the Japanese version, when it finally came here a while later it was renamed King of the Zoo, which I always felt lost a little something. It's a simple concept, but it was just so good in execution. And new 2 v 2 mode!

Nintendo genuinely never forget anything, do they?

So I was in Smyths the other day doing my weekly "checking out the yummy mummies" routine under the pretence of taking my seven year old son for a look around the toy shop and I noticed they had FIFA 2018 on preorder.

Now I'm not sure what I was disgusted with most, the waxwork like face of Ronaldo on the cover, the so-called collectors edition that seemed to just have some extra digital tat for an added £20, or the fact that the Switch version cost a whopping £54.99 (£5 more than the PS4 and Xbox One versions).

Im wondering how EA can really justify it, because here was me thinking that as the Switch version has less features, doesn't look as good as the other versions (because it's using its own engine) but has been said to be "the best portable version of FIFA yet", EA would maybe think about pricing it accordingly. Not pricing it as one of the most expensive games on the Switch.

Maybe it it will do really well and make lots of money for EA, or maybe it will underperform due to being ridiculously expensive for what it is and EA will come out with the inevitable "no more support for the Switch due to underwhelming sales".

Like FIFA 13 on the Wii U.

Its a shame because I probably would have picked it up, but at £55 they can forget it... Hopefully that Kickmen game or that Sensible Soccer update comes out on the Switch (or hopefully Emlyn Hughes International Soccer 2018).

I have just returned from the future, the year 2064.

Capcom are still releasing ports of resident evil revelations.

Could at least have brought some useful information, like who wins the grand national.

I think it will do very well. Also it won't be 55 quid on the day you can bet on that. Stores love slashing each others throats over FIFA,

There's that 8Bitdo NES30 stick available for pre-order on Amazon US. It works out at around £85 when you include the cost of shipping it to the uk.

You can use it either via USB or Bluetooth so the only way it'd be more ideal is if it also opened up to reveal a padded enclosure for the Switch itself.

In my next accessory question, has anyone discovered a solution for transporting 4 joycons? 2 can fit on the console, but what do you do with the others?

Hang ‘em off your wrist ;)

actually i I did see a case for joycons somewhere. Will take another look.

I'm liking the look of Mario+Rabbids even though it's not the sort of game I'm usually interested in.

Same. Had zero interest until now but having watched the easy allies vid I’m in (even though I have hardly had time for Arms or Splatoon and still loads of mileage in MK8 and  Zelda!)

Look at that Rabbids game.

LOOK. AT. IT! It looks bloody brilliant. Every single one of us gave out a collective "Er ... what?" when we first heard about it, but Nintendo have just done what they always do which is to just prove us collectively wrong. They really do know better than the rest, they're absolutely in a class of their own, and whereas the rest of us had written off Ubisoft, Nintendo were all like "Don't worry, internet, we got this. We'll help them. You'll get your Ubi back, trust us."
