Maybe everyone knew about this, but a little USB thing that lets you use a bunch of different pads on the Switch has appeared. Might give it a go and see how it copes with my PS4 arcade stick and the like. It's only about four quid on Taobao.

I see we're past the glory days of taking photos of new consoles with pets.

Shame.

Yesterday I went into the living room and found my cat had jumped up into the TV unit, knocking over the switch dock, which was hanging over the edge held only by the wires, and my Switch was face down on the floor.

Thankfully it was fine, no scratches or scrapes, but taking a photo of that damn cat was the last thing on my mind.

My cockatiel decided to sit on mine while I was playing Splatoon in handheld mode last night. Then he started tapping the screen saying "Don't ignore me pet human"

It came this morning, so my free evening of splatoon never happened but nevermind, what a lovely device, just feels right in the hands. Kids are already arguing over which controller is "theirs"

Quick question - does anyone have a suggestion for mounting it in the back of a car - between the 2 front seats so both in the back can see?

And will it charge off a car power port thing via usb?

Thanks

Headrest Mount, iKross Car Backseat Headrest Extension Mount Holder for 7-10.2 Inch Apple, Samsung, Asus, LG, Lenovo Tablet- Black https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00HFNH8JQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_kCXCzbK3152Z3

I dont think the 12v USB thingies will give enough juice to charge the switch. The one in my wife's car won't even charge an iPad.

Well, £29.99.

It's £26.99 on the eshop, but yeah, what the fuck are they thinking with that price? It's not even in the usual 'I can get this a bit cheaper elsewhere but I'm still tempted' eshop category. Just an instant no fucking way. Bizarre.

It's £10.99 on Steam. That's not in a sale - that's the regular price. It's been as cheap as £1.75. Now I get that the Switch is a shiny new console and the portability is a big deal, but from what dimension of crazy is £27 coming?

im going to sit down with it in about an hour!

Edit:. Just started using it and no probs at all, i can even play Fast Racing RMX better

i would say theres no Morion Controls,  i mean its only a 25 quid pad.

but works well! - the lead is about 2.5 meters long i reckon

Is the official case good or is there a better option? Cheers

also does fast rmx do split screen with 2 joycon multiplayer?

ta

The official case is nice and sleek, has storage for a few carts, transforms into a screen rest, and comes with a screen protector. But, it has no room to store the Joycon grips properly. If you're only planning on playing in handheld mode when out and about it's fine though.
