Mine arrived and it appears to be faulty, great. It got stuck on the searching for networks screen for a good fifteen minutes or so, clearly not normal. Pressed the power button, screen went off. Now it won't turn on. Anyone else?

Edit - finally turned back on with an error code. Worrying for a moment there, Jesus.

Not sure if this will be of any use, but will throw it out there:  all my signals were detected (plus a few next door/down the street).

I connected with my 5ghz channel, not tried my 2.4ghz yet but will.

I'm a few feet from the router, but it's still only showing 2 bars (of 4) so may have a poor wifi antenna in it...

It's a lovely bit of kit.  Love it.  I think I prefer playing Zelda in portable mode.  Sorry to be one of those people but the jaggies from the TV cut my eyes and it feels smoother in portable mode.  Only thing it's not as comfortable in portable as I'm finding Im having to do finger gymnastics at the moment but it maybe because I'm not totally used to it yet.

Left joycon problems for me. :(

Making Zelda unplayable. I'm about 2 metres away from the TV if that.

System hasn't been updated yet, only 350 minutes to go!

How can you view your active downloads from the home screen?

That sounds crazy. Mine was ready to install the update before I'd finished choosing a picture for my account.

I literally just tested the Left Joy Con using the analog stick calibration thing.

at least 3 meters away with two people between it and the Switch and no sync issues what so ever.

Yeah, I was over 4m away and tried the calibration, behind back and seemed to pick it up fine, is it just during games?

As I'm working (well, pretending to while posting here) I've only done the set up and left it to fully charge. It really is a wonderful thing to hold, and of course it's taken DAT SCREEN award from the Vita. I can see us treating this as an amazing handheld/portable console* that also hooks up to the TV when you want it to.

Anyway - recommended accessories? I've done no research as this was an impulse buy this morning. What's the best carry case, game cart holder etc.?

*I know the the coming weeks in our house are going to be dominated by shouts of "Where's the Switch?" "Who's got the Switch?" and "It's my turn on the Switch!" (mainly from me).

Am definitely broadcasting the SSID. Tried to manually set up but I dunno what to put in for Subnet Mask and Gateway

If you have a PC connected to that same network, do an ipconfig.  Or log onto your router and check in there.

Anyone able to confirm being able to turn it on and off while docked with the joycons or pro controller? If you can do it with the latter I might stretch and get one.

It feels like there should be a way but I haven't discovered it yet, only sleep mode.

Sync issues here, after the update too. The tiniest part of my hand goes over the top and it stops responding. It's definitely not a distance issue as I always sit really close to the TV. Gutted as I was hoping to be able to play this Wii style with a Joycon in each hand down by my sides. Will just have to rest my left hand on my leg I guess :P

Other than that it's an absolutely lovely bit of kit. Surprisingly so for Nintendo hardware. Just hope this sync issue can be fixed!
