you get a pair with the switch so you'd only 'need' them if you were getting extra joycons

Oh for some reason in my head I thought you didn't get them with the ones that came with it?

The wait is crushing but seeing excited pics is helping, all blue is the sex!

While I wait important housekeeping has been done, I have my Mii ready to transfer - took a while to decide what amiibo was up to the task but in the end this young man looked the most pleased to help..

The Pro Controller was a last minute Amazon Prime addition to my launch haul. It didn't feel good to part with another £65 but there can be no regrets after having both controllers in my hands.

The Joy-Con analogue sticks are alright by handheld standards, but that's as positive as it gets. The feel of them and the positioning of the right one won't cut it when the likes of Splatoon come along.

Unless you're only intending to use Switch as a handheld, I'd have to recommend the Pro controller as a necessary and expensive evil.

Oh look, you can earn points on physical game still:

Game Cards
On Nintendo Switch, you can also earn points for games that you bought at a retailer. You can do this directly from the HOME Menu of your Nintendo Switch. Press the + or - Button while the icon of the game you want to register is selected to get to the Options screen . Then, go to "My Nintendo Rewards Programme" and select "Earn Points".

Yeah apparently it's all 720p even docked.

Seeing as the reports on Zelda are saying that it struggles at 900p but is fine at the Tablet Screen's resolution of 720p, might it be an idea to set the Switch's max resolution in its settings to 720p?  That would lock Zelda to that resolution right?

There might be Switch games in future that can manage full 1080p (Mario Kart?) But it certainly appears that it's not something that the Switch can do easily, & staying at 720p may make going back & forth between the TV & the Tablet screen less jarring.

And once you download a game from another regions, it's just there - no need to fiddle around swapping accounts each time.

If you load say Puyo Tetris demo from JP store on your UK account is it english language?

Right, fired it up, done the system update, plugged in microsd card, done another system update, logged in with nintendo account and am now redeeming code for snipperclips.

Time to make space and plumb this in properly before firing up Zelda at lunchtime.

Selected Wind Waker Link with dark blue background as avatar. Rocking the dark theme for the UI like the cool kids.

Be careful when putting the wrist straps on the joycons guys. Apparently it's really easy to put them on the wrong way and get them stuck.

This is glorious - what a beautifully engineered, joyous to use machine. Nintendo

My friend code if you'd like to add me is: SW-2829-9023-4312 (wonderfalls)

Can you let me know where it shows the friends code please?
