eh?!  Sounds fine.

It's so barren. Really is the basics. The more I see stuff like this (especially when it wasn't the case with the Wii or WiiU) just makes me think the whole system shouldn't have been shipped til November time. Actually build it up first, give us something proper.

They were clear from the beginning it was going to be a very basic set up. Which is what we've now got.

Just gimme Zelda and a Switch so I can stop coming to this place so often to read strange opinions on things we've all known about for months.

I;ve got a million ways to watch Netflix and Amazon just now... all I need is something I can play Zelda on.

This.  I'd like a decent browser though... adblock, flash etc to watch football streams on.  The kickstand and screen size would be perfect for work.  Although my android phone is 6.44 inches anyway... First world problems etc.

Can anyone recommend an Android Browser that does all dem' ting'?

I'm not sure if that is going to help sell the Switch to the casual audience.

It's almost as if they didn't want to play such expensive crap, but Nintendo paid them to.

Oh well, I'm sure tomorrow's This Morning will be better when they spend all day playing Zelda.

Fucking embarrassing.

Don't see what the problem is with that - at the end Holly basically said "that was fun, I want to play it again" - which is as good as they could have hoped for surely?

I just watched it again and you're right. I was cringing so much the first time I didn't judge it properly.

At its current price without the game packed in I doubt many casuals would buy it.

I agree, I laughed at it too so I guess that it would have grabbed some attention.  It's a shame they didn't play a 2nd game once they had gotten over the generic non-gamer "we are playing a video game and I'm a technophobe" response.

The most embarrassing bit is that non-gamers don't want to embrace games, technology and fun :(

Maybe.

Classic Nintendo online: go to sign in, says Network ID or password is not correct. Not only do I know it anyway, but I'm double-checking it off a computer that's signed into my Nintendo account, right next to me.

EDIT: Ah, I fell prey to the NNID / Network Account clusterfuck.

And wait to play Zelda in November when it's ready now? Get out!!

The interface is quite barren. Hopefully they will improve the eShop interface in time.

The main thing I wish it had was the activity log from the Wii U/3DS.

Oh, eShop also needs this music:

I LOVED that music... made me wanna SHOP!

Although, I suspect they've gone for a quick and smooth interface, rather than slow it down with flourishes that might be traditional little Nintendo touches, but just slow things down?  They got absolutely hammered for the response times of the WiiU OS.
