I AM FUCKING GETTING ONE!

After a few days of jumping on and off the fence my pre-order is now confirmed for a grown up CLASSIC grey with, obviously, Zelda (with a free badge!) and a bonus Pro Controller..

I am highly excited.

Pro Controller was cheap (relatively) from Gameseek at £58 although the price has now shot up to £63. I wasn;t prepared to use Hermes as they are shit awful so have settled for 2nd Class RM but I can wait a few days for it no problem..

Honestly, I bet mostly adults will end up getting the red/blue Switch, whilst kids who think they're really mature will get the grey ones.

"No mom the colorful one looks like it was made for 5 year olds!"

I definitely want the red/blue Switch.

I've no idea what anyone else's reasoning is but I'll take understated over overstated for anything,  any day of the week.

The neon look a proper eyesore to me.

Thats how I want it at this point. I'm safe to browse there unlike say Kotaku or ign where you'll be innocently scrolling through and suddenly

IN BREATH OF THE WILD YOU CAN FUCK A DOG IN FIRELINK SHRINE AND HERES WHY THATS AMAZING

I am now sold on getting Zelda.

Spoiler

to join in with the activities above.

To transfer a Mii from a Wii U (or a 3DS) you need to register an owner to an amiibo using that Mii. Then you can scan the amiibo on the Switch and get the amiibo from there.

So you have to fork out for an unwanted lump of plastic just to transfer a Mii - well done Nintendo!

Fuck sake. Just stumbled across a pretty big Zelda spoiler by complete accident. Hope it's not true. It's put me in a really sour mood.

This is a reminder to surf carefully everyone!

There's a secret chest in a hidden cave atop a mountain that contains 20-Goddamn-Rupees?

If you're interested in trying 1, 2 Switch for cheap, might be worth signing up for a new Very account and using this code: LA4AC

Gets you 30 quid off an order over 60 quid. I signed up and pre-ordered 1, 2 Switch and Mario Kart 8 and ended up paying 54 quid for them both (so essentially a tenner for 1, 2 Switch which is about what it's likely worth to me). Don't really care if I get it on launch day or not, but as a cheap party game it might be some fun.

People were using the code to get Pro Controllers for 35 quid but they must have been inundated and the Pro is listed as out of stock now :(

Nice one. I wasn't prepared to risk ordering the Switch itself from Very, but at £32 for a case + Mario Kart pre-order, I won't be too upset if it doesn't arrive bang on time.

Topic title on the GameFAQs boards.

Don't laugh! You get some good discussion on there sometimes depending on the game.

Thats got to be the dumbest place to look and be surprised to find a spoiler, like opening off topic and not expecting a shit topic!

Whats the general feeling on best carry case for this? Need something I can sling in a big each day on the way to work. Torn between the official Nintendo case and the Hori hard case.

What about the Waterfield case? You'll look like a sir!
