I relented on Saturday and pre ordered from Shopto, but listening to NVC and Rebel FM last night has my finger hovering over the cancel button. I really want to play Zelda, but there seems to be a lukewarm/concerned attitude to the hardware itself from a technical/mechanical perspective. It already seems ripe for a V 1.5 by the sounds of it.

Lol u wot mate? The hardware has knocked everybody for six.

Last Rebel FM was the most Nintendo optimistic podcast they have ever released. Arthur Gies pretty much thinks Nintendo is an anachronism! And I could totally tell he is  excited by Nintendos new platform.

I'm listening to it at the moment and 7 minutes in it's pretty much been negativity. I would hate to hear how negative about Nintendo they usually are!

I find Arthur Gies criticism legit. He is clear about the known flaws. He probably was one of the first ones that noticed the joycon weak signal. He says he probably was the one who wrongly named it "desync".

He tells Anthony that he would probably find the switch difficult to hold, is not much different than a vita.

And he finds the Pro controller overprice.

But you can tell that he digs the concept and the product

Is the general consensus that the Snipperclips + joycon bundle will not offer a big saving? I would like to have the joycon on the weekend so I can play bomberman 4 player.

edit : Amazon have it listed at £80. Thats a pretty good saving considering buiying them seperate will work out around £90.

It's frustrating that Nintendo choose to bundle a game with an extra set of joycons rather than with the console.

As well as providing a little value it would also neatly demonstrate that the console can accommodate two player games out of the box. This snipperclips bundling gives an impression that an extra pair of joycons are needed in order to play the game..

Must be one of the few four player games. Imma allow this.

Screw it, the joycon bundle is widely available for £70, meaning I'll be spending £8 extra if I buy them seperately, meaning I wont have to wait an entire week before getting my extra joycon. I need Bomberman 4 player. Question is, do I go grey to give me an option of grey/neon switch on my travels or neon so I have the option of full red or blue?

No,  they are gougers.

Twice RRP is,  at best,  unseemly behaviour for a legit business and was enough for me to decide to not use them again.

If you think that's bad (and you'd be right, because it is) 365games are selling it for £139.99 http://www.365games.co.uk/retro-consoles/nintendo-classic-mini-nes-nintendo-entertainment-system-console

Never go full red or blue. It's not slick like grey and not whacky and crazy like mixing red and blue.

Never.
