More prominent shoulder buttons and better ergonomics I think. I don't think I'll be bothering with them, at least not initially. Just see how I get on with the doss set up.

I think I'm likely to spend 90% of my time playing the switch on the couch with the joy-cons, as I found the split set-up with the Wiimote and Nunchuck very comfortable and natural. So I think the clips will stay on unless I need to charge the controllers, or if I'm trying it out on the bus.

Quick side note for all the Shovel Knight talk: describing Plague of Shadows as an expansion is super generous, it's the exact same levels, just a single new character to play as. Absolutely not worth £10, thought it was a nice unlock when finishing the game. No idea if the new spectre knight one is more than that.

Asda in Hamilton aren't getting any in... this is going to be a difficult week.

We're a nation of arseholes

I work in another shop in Hamilton and I had a guy in the other day with a Hylian Shield backpack. Was that you?!?

Still have my GC plugged into the living room TV! :) Might play F-Zero GX later, come to think of it.

(GC picture's rather shit when connected via S-video, mind.)

I've been blasting it the last couple of days, getting back into cornering proficiently and that.

It's an utterly demanding game, absolutely relentless. The adrenaline alone is rewarding enough, but add on actual success with a cup or a v.hard story mission and there's nothing else in gaming that comes close to that feeling.

I've booked Thursday off now, I need to play some of these old fashioned games on PS4/Xbone before we move on to Switch gaming

Whilst they will seem like dinosaurs imma keep hold of my Xbox One until there are some decent driving games on the Switch. Probably next year I'll get it stuffed and mounted.
