I regretted selling my Megadrive and haven't sold a console since, never seems worth it, by the time I'm done with them they're worth very little.

I love plugging them in every now and again to replay some classics, rebought Luigi's Mansion not so long ago.

@sprite I have a GameCube, Wii and Wii U, I'm crazy.

I find the Wii useful for playing Gamecube games because it's easy to get component cables for it as opposed to the Gamecube, plus how much would you even get for a Wii these days?

RGB on the Gamecube is better than component on the Wii.

It's the principle of getting rid of a console to keep your partner happy as opposed to the monetary value it may raise.

Next to nothing, they are pretty much worthless. I picked one up last year for a tenner.

Game has just sent me a text to tell me they are no longer doing a midnight launch at Merry Hill centre. :( I'll have to pick it up on Friday morning instead. Why would they cancel? Not enough pre orders made?

Maybe not enough buyers. We are excited in this thread, but I don't think it will be a big seller in the UK. Maybe after a price cut and/or good bundle.

I'd argue the GameCube is the design classic. I'd never sell mine.

Anyhow sprite sell the Wii, unless you use it for playing Gamecube games.

It was for the GameCube BC yeah. [emoji4]

Although I never got Luigis Mansion and after playing the sequel on 3DS I wished I had.

Not when using a component to vga transcoder, linked to a crt monitor at (480p).  Quality wise, it piddles on an interlaced RGB signal from a great height!

I noticed a lot of negativity on Facebook when for example Eurogamer posts an article.

I am ready for a cold welcome of the console. And maybe that is why Nintendo has soft released it in March.

I expect the Switch to be a grower than a shower. People still dont know they want it. This is not fanboy wishful thining, I also knew the Wii U was going to fail hard.

Just wait for commuters on train playing zelda and then mario kart. Lan parties at pubs and cafes all over Britain.

ah fuck... in the space of 20 minutes, Amazon have gone from guaranteed delivery to out of stock... :(

Asda in Hamilton aren't getting any in... this is going to be a difficult week.

The grey (best colour) is still available. Think Anne was basing her predictions on Amazon pre-order availability.

Whenever I think of either Facebook or Eurogamer I think of "whining bitches". I can only imagine what the Eurogamer Facebook page is like.
