Salty tears from me too.

Close to cancelling. Can play Zelda on Wii U and I still have tons to play on my consoles and handhelds.

Might invest in a retropie instead with that gorgeous FC30 controller.

If I cancel, I'm sure I will get one in time.

get the pie, they are utterly fantastic!

Zelda, Snipperclips and Fast RMX... cant wait!!! Only one week!!!

have you read the Zelda preview from polygon? that is going to be incredible.

And that game looks like it is going to have quite a few expansions. I am very happy to say bye bye to my Wii U

The thread is mostly just people complaining about a console that hasn't come out yet and no one has spent a good few hours using....

It's actually one of the more positive places on the internet concerning the subject.

I'm ready...

Zelda. Of course

Just Dance. Never played it and never want to but my daughter will love it

Snipperclips. Looks fun to play with my daughter and maybe the other half

12 Switch. I can deny it all I want but I know I kind of want it for some family fun and embarrassment

Fast RMX. Not super excited by this but need some portable racing fun

Not sure I would be interested in many of these (except Zelda of course) if they weren't launch day games.

Y'know the more info that comes out seems like Nintendo's been hiding stuff cause they're worried.

I get the joy con thing, that's a (slight) worry - but what else has come out that is causing concern? Everything else seems to be pretty positive - the OS seems decent and snappy (even has nice stuff like being able to update from a local Switch), the battery life is as expected, the sleep mode works very well, we're getting launch games added, the Zelda previews are almost all very positive...

What's the info that is causing concern for people?

I'm genuinely interested to see what the justifications will be for Nintendo's decision-making if the Switch underperforms.

Is it just consumers who are wrong, like they were about the Wii U?

How were the consumers wrong? Nintendo created a console that was unsuitable to the needs of the market and therefore it flopped accordingly.  You can't blame the consumer for not investing in a console that they don't want.

Apart from Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Phantom Arsegas and Spirit Tracks, of course.

Are you literally saying you only think highly of Skyward Sword and A Link Between Worlds? certainly an interesting opinion for a Nintendo fan to hold when it comes to this series.

He could have a strong affinity towards Link to the Past, perhaps. I know how it can be.

Goldeneye isn't on my top 100 games of all time because Perfect Dark blows it completely out of the water, as an example. I have three Zelda games in my top 10, but if I could only pick one definitive Zelda game to stick up there it'd be LttP.

“Door certainly not closed” for Mass Effect Andromeda on Nintendo Switch

Quote

When the Nintendo Switch rumours were swirling about last year, it was strongly rumoured that Mass Effect Andromeda would be a launch game, but then that got shut down quite heavily. So what happened there with Mass Effect and the Switch?

First, we were too deep in development to focus on a new console. Secondly, the door is open, we have nothing against the Switch even if we have nothing for the Switch. If the Switch is a significant success we will revisit that. So the door is certainly not closed, it just wasn’t the right timing for us.

I can see myself playing an epic RPG on a big old fashioned armchair as If I was reading a book
