Game Redhill is happy to send my Switch from to Eastbourne, where I leave now. I wont have it till the monday after though.

so I am keeping my preorder with them. They even noted down my interest on a Neon in case someone drops their preorder.

Anyway gray is kinda growing back on me.

I am saying this because GAME is not always crap.

But pricing hasn't been confirmed. It could be £10 more. Oh Nintendo.

It'll likely be exactly the same as buying things separately, except you don't get a box with a sticker on it. Maybe £5 less. £5 to wait 7 days. You could find £5 in change during that week.

Or, you know, Fuck Nintendo.

I just cancelled my Switch. Fuck 'em. Fuck 'em all.

The myriad of "negligible" issues surrounding this launch is crazy, and together they really do add up.

Apparently you need to make an account specific to your Switch and link your Nintendo Account to it? Why can't Nintendo figure accounts out? I think this will take my Nintendo accounts to 5 in the past 10 years.

If it's true they have undersupplied the Wii U version of Zelda then that is simply shit. Bad Nintendo, bad!

It sounds like they're being dickish about stores even ordering it. Initially it was going to be game exclusive, but in the end the guy I know was able to order one for each Switch he'd ordered or something shit like that. It's going to vanish forever after launch day.

How hard can it be to get 8 copies for all the Wii U owners in the UK?

And in fairness three of those are at Joe's house.

There's two at my house...

The endless new accounts make me miss the shit stars catalogue. At least that lasted a while.

Have you seriously cancelled?

Y'know the more info that comes out seems like Nintendo's been hiding stuff cause they're worried. Seems like theyre still launching a little early.

I don't blame anyone for cancelling, unless theyre desperate for Zelda (and dont have a Wii U) - theres literally nothing worth spending hundreds of £ for.

Imagine cancelling your preorder and then reading about how great it is in this thread next Friday.

Then your Wii U version of Zelda gets delayed because they printed 4 copies of it.

You get it eventually and play it on the game pad on the bog but it's not the same and your tears keep misting up the low res screen.

No chance in hell I'm cancelling. Playing what is very likely to be the best version of Zelda Breath of The Wild on the train to work. Priceless...

Have you tried using your PSVR on the train yet? I'm sure you will get a lot of attention.

Why would I do that when I can struggle to move link in Breath of the Wild on the train due to radio interference, or you know, my body being too watery? Me cussing and grumbling while passengers look on with envy?

I jest, not worried in the slightest about this, Nintendo are big boys. They will resolve it.... If there is anything Nintendo is good at it's hardware reliability...

And making the best games. So that's two things.

Yeah, I agree.  I'll get a switch but not at launch. It's not a massive indictment of the system but I'll probably pick it up a bit later this year when a decent offer or bundle comes along and the eshop and Virtual Console are up and running.  The hardware looks fun but I don't really use portable systems that much (not sure standing on the Jubilee line is ideal conditions for playing on route to work) and Zelda seems pretty much identical to the Wii U version.  If there had been a legitimate exclusive must have game then of course I would have plunged now but without that I just don't need to.  As others have said, have lots of other games on other systems to play so will likely pick one up when Mario arrives at Christmas and all the launch and near launch games are available nice and cheap.
