For anybody who's worried about the Joy-Con issue, it seems the problem can be fixed. An eagle eyed member from NeoGaf had this to say:

TL;DR: Nintendo can fix this with a firmware update. Possibly on launch day or close to launch.

I'll wait for Nintendo to confirm this than somebody on GAF.

Eh, I can understand but there's plenty of techheads on GAF that make me trust them over some companies.

The question right now is if Nintendo is willing to say anything about it or is stupid enough to stay silent.

Isn't the idea that they might have this trouble permanently if fully enclosed in your hands still worrying for things like arms? I guess in the arms videos they are holding them normally, whereas in the interference video they seem to be wrapping their hands right around them in an excruciating way just to check

Or, option C - most people aren't going to notice it at all during their normal use anyway so there is no real reason for Nintendo to do anything public that might make it look like a bigger problem than it actually is?

Let's wait until it's out there in really significant numbers and then we can make calls on if it's a problem that Nintendo needs to address or not - and even then, it might not need to specifically address it, could just be bundled up in a 'stability' patch.

So, I *didn't* say he was lying or making anything up then.

Either he's telling the truth about his opinions, in which case he's not trying to "stir anything up," or he's misrepresenting his opinions and making mountains out of molehills in order to generate traffic.

This isn't hard.

If that were the case the sync issue would have popped up when I was playing the game a week ago in Amsterdam. No problems playing then due to, what I suspect, was the relative short distance between the Joy-Con and console.

Yes your hand fully covers the joy-con meaning the problem should rise up when your at a certain distance. A firmware update could increase the range easily that even encasing it in your hand shouldn't be a problem anymore.

Where are people buying the sniperclips joycon bundle from?

Its only just been announced so I'm not sure any retailers have listed anything on their sites. I haven't seen anything from my quick search.

Good lord, this is getting tiring. It's perfectly possible to write a piece that you know/hope is going to cause discussion without having to lie. Those two things are not tied together. It's his very job in fact to write articles and news in a fashion that will be interesting to people. It's his job to find an interesting angle and take on things.

Put it this way - both of these totally made up tweets are 100% factually correct - one of them is likely to cause more people to click than the other.

"I have a Switch here right now, it's nice - lots of stuff locked behind a Day 1 update though ;("

"I have a Switch here right now, no eShop and Friends functionality - oh Nintendo!"

Now, and I'm going to repeat this as you seem to be having a problem with it - I have no problem with the guy doing that - it's his job to write content that people will see, read, discuss. BUT, that doesn't mean I'm (as a reader) not going note something which I think is focusing on some very minor problems (not even a problem in terms of the VC, since I don't honestly think Nintendo even planned to have it there on Day 1 anyway). It's his right to put it out there, it's my right to comment on it - neither of us is lying.

I've never called him a liar, he isn't a liar, but he did very specifically pick from a pool of stuff he could write in order to hopefully get some attention.

Hoping it appears somewhere soon, and the price is approx. the same as the joy con bundle.

I was in at launch for Snipperclips anyway as it looks awesome.

The thought of all blue, all red (with my Neon Switch), or even some funky Snipperclips coloured joy cons means that Nintendo, once again, and shut up and take my money.

That has to be for the actual bundle and not just the game, right?

I've just ordered it, if it turns out to be just the game I'll return it. But included with the joycon that is an excellent price, £10 discount on the joycon pair price.

Well they will be all packaged and ready to ship so as people have said it will be a firmware update ^_^ Nintendo aren't that stupid that they will not sort it. I reckon they won't say anything as they will sort it for release. People are just jumping on it I think

I was about to preorder it but you have to pay upfront by the looks of it?

I'll stick with it until a few days after launch, if nothing is looking likely on the Wednesday or Thursday after I'll stump the full amount up. I'm in no rush, I'll be able to play Zelda, over priced Bomberman and Shovel Knight for a few days.
