FWIW my phone uses USB C and it takes twice as long to charge in an iPhone plug. Charges fine (less than an hour) in an iPad plug.

So I bagged an Amazon pre-order back on the morning of the old Switchmas event. Unfortunately, I've come to the conclusion that I can't afford to buy it, it'll be Wii U Zelda for me. But, rather than throw the pre-order to the ether, I thought I'd check if anyone on here wants it. It'll be easy enough for me to change the delivery address on the order, the problem is that I will have to be paid in full before the order goes out (I can't afford to have the £279.99 taken out of my account, even briefly). 

 

So, if you want a day-one Switch pre-order, trust me enough not to run away with your money, and have a hopefully hassle-free to get that money to me (I think I have a paypal account that I haven't used in a decade?) feel free to throw me a PM.

Really? That's a shame. Unless anyone has any other info, I guess I'll just cancel the order then.

 

EDIT: Actually, if someone wants to pay for me to ship it from my house to them, or pick it up from me in London or some other arrangement, I'd be fine with that.

Yep. You can't change the order at all without moving it to the back of the queue. Quite a few complaints about it.

had a weird dream last night where the switch sucked because you couldn't press up on the d-pads, of which it had 2.

Yes, but you can choose a "User ID" now. Looks like it'll be the GamerTag equivalent.

I e not created any Nintendo accounts before as I've not had any of their systems online before. I created a My Nintendo account for super mario run on the iPhone and assumed that that's the same account they'll be using for the switch.

Ahh cool, I looked on my phone and it just seemed to want to reset my password - makes sense seeing it on the laptop so have set up my ID - exciting times!

I had to set a password as well. I had just been logging in with my NNID before.

Same, just loaded up Mario Run and it is already showing my username rather than just 'Andy' as it was before - seamless, very un Nintendo...
