One unexpected thing about the Switch in his account was that he compared the Switch/Joy-con thumbsticks to those of the PS Vita in terms of size and feel.  Not sure how I feel about that. If so, I imagine that the Pro controller will be quite sought-after, even with its high price.

Whoa whoa whoa lets knock this on the head, Vita sticks are marginally better than the PS3 sticks (worst pad in living history, you its worse than the Jaguar pad) and all the impressions I've seen and read have said the joy con sticks are great, like PS4/Xbone good. Pro controller is meant to be better but not a massive jump - thats reflective of how good the joy con is rather than the pro being naff!

I haven't followed the new Zelda much and haven't seen much footage at all. (Just the odd clip and some basic stuff from E3 last year). I was watching Jim Sterling's new rant about Nintendo's youtube policies and he showed quite a bit of Zelda footage.

 

Fuck me. I seriously cannot wait until launch day now. It looks amazing.

Can someone demystify Nintendo accounts and ids for me please? I had a Wii and I've got a 3DS. Can't remember the email or user name. Is an account and an id the same thing? I've requested a password change but nothing has come through so I might have the email wrong. Don't really want to set up a new one.

Just got my Nintendo ID. 

 

After browsing through my Nintendo account, I didn't realise that they had been keeping track of all of my purchases, thought they were just linked to the respective consoles and not my account. Would be nice if they could transfer over these purchases to the switch.

It's really annoying that Nintendo still hasn't clarified the transfer of purchases amongst other things. Also, Reggie did say that things like Virtual Console would be detailed before launch.

 

Less than two weeks to go and I doubt there will be a Nintendo direct to, you know, provide bloody information.

I keep getting an error code when trying to see my account activity.
