So Zavvi have a valentines day code and being the old romantic that I am...

12% off using code HVDAY12

It works on pre-orders as I have just gone for a pro pad for £52.79 shipped - a bargain I'm sure you will agree...

Of course I have £66 in game credit to buy a pro pad.....

I have a proper case (a-hah) of dilemma over what one to get, I tend to go for Nintendo branded cases but I want one with more protection as it will be going into my work bag - that one in the vid looks good as I saw the review this morning.

Where did you order the Hori one from, did you dedicate an entire show to what case to buy this week @murray?

I can't believe people are actually defending the 1-hour play sessions for an online beta.

Just have it open during the entire weekend? Just like every other free online beta we've had since the beginning of online betas. They will probably have a limit again on the amount of times you get to play a demo on the Switch as well. It's yer typical 'two steps forward, one step back'-Nintendo.

Which to be fair is still one step forward. That's good for Nintendo.

Got it from Amazon, of course.

HORI Switch Tough Case https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01MR63I6F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_qS3OybH7SN2NC

Would have liked to dedicate a full two hours about case decisions, but that got vetoed.

Just ordered the same, thanks for the heads up.

I wouldn't totally mind just using the joy cons in the grip but this way I can leave them attached and charging so I'm always ready to go, and I have a proper two controller setup for local multiplayer. Should prove to be useful enough over the life of the system.

Possibility of GameCube games and Joycon, but nothing concrete. You have to use the dock to output video; USB to HDMI won't work.

I'd definitely be up for some GameCube Joy-Cons. Assuming they wouldn't have the HD rumble and the sensor thing, they'd surely be £30 max for a pair.

Well that FIFA looks sub-360 level of detail there. I don't know why I thought EA might actually put some effort in.

Undocked Switch is more powerful than the Wii U so it should at least look better than Fifa 13 that was on Wii U. Wii U was roughly the same power wise as the 360 if i'm not mistaken?

I doubt that's the real game. Since they haven't made it yet.

I'm pretty sure it will be some ways into development since it's rumoured to be Fifa 18 ? Hopefully this isn't representative of the final version as I feel like it should look better.
