Tell me bucko. You're buying a Mercedes Benz or a high-end laptop computer or perhaps a Nintendo Switch. You've a choice between classy genmetal grey or clown colours. What are you gonna choose?

Not that I would buy a Mercedes but should I buy a car of that ilk I wouldnt be buying a grey/silver one as I had loads of John Major coloured company cars as they remind you of the man -I would buy a fun colour but it wouldn't be neon so you have half a point.

But, not to strike a man when he is down esp when he has prolly just had his peas for his dinner, should I be buying a high end laptop...

I have a Grey Switch pre-ordered and didn't want to fuck with it because I used Amazon vouchers and have been guaranteed 3rd of March Delivery since ordering.  I must say, I sort of wish I'd hung on for a Neon but at the same time the grey looks a little less conspicuous to bust out in the office or on a train.

I'm open to the idea of picking up another pair of Neon Joy-cons at some point however :)

Christ. This is a tough choice. Perhaps we need a poll.

Can't be arsed.

Ramone and Rubberducker are on team bland. Any other greysayers?

I have a mate who's surname is Bland, he is getting a neon one so you need to change your name - Team John or Major Jon

I have done a campaign photo for you...

Another thing worth mentioning about the Switch display which doesn't come across until you have one in your hands is how bright it is. Everyone hated on the original GBA because it was unplayable in the dark. No worries about that here. It was in fact too bright, but I think they must have cranked it up to max for showroom mode.

Will the wolf link amiibo from TP work in BOTW if I've never used it in TP?

I have been trying to find this out - it looks like you need to do a certain thing in TP but I could be wrong, there isn't too much info on what amiibos specifically do as yet.

I am so tempted to buy the TP HD remake...

On further reading around it seems if you haven't 'upgraded' the wolf amiibo in TP he likely starts with a default number of hearts, rather than having a stronger wolf buddy (10 or more is possible I believe).

Of course how your wolf's health impacts in the game nobody knows. What happens when he carks it? When does he come back? Just tap the amiibo again?

Wonder if the screen will have any of these lack of calibration/dead pixel/dust issues. I'm certainly not as fussy myself, and fairly sure my Majora bought at launch is duel IPS and lacks any problems (touch wood), but I'd been thinking of upgrading to a plain one to keep Majora nice in the long run but if it's this much of a lottory...maybe just forget about it instead.

I wonder if shopto are actually going to drop the price on Zelda. It's annoying me as if I do order it somewhere else I could wind up having console a day early from shopto but having no Zelda until the day after.

As for the screen I wouldn't worry as it's the same company as make apples screens. Should be very consistent quality.

Yeah 'tis on my 2017 wishlist.  Looks infinitely better than Cuphead in both visuals and content.

Boom. Shots fired at forum darling, I don't give a fuck.

Wrong. Cuphead is visually beautiful. Trust me, I'm an artist ;)

Anyway, haven't preordered as I was going to hold out until later in the year but I think I've just blagged one through work!!!
