I don't see the point either. It's not as if he's going viral or anything and raking in that internet money. Must have some very generous parents?

Well, he'll be certainly wanting it to go viral. Today's video admits that Nintendo haven't got an official line for it and aren't likely to have until a few days before the release. So at the moment they're queueing for a queue and only during the hours Nintendo NY is open.

And because Rockefeller Plaza own the pavement they can't be seen to be loitering outside, so they're going in and out of the shop and standing on the other side of the street. This is already garbage content, so I don't know he's going to keep interest for a month.

Anyway in more important news: here's Kojima spinning a Joycon like a cowboy Revolver Ocelot.

The exasperation on that guy's face.

Dynasty Warriors Switch please

Well, we've got Fire Emblem Warriors to look forward to, at least, though I imagine that'll deviate from the template a fair amount just as Hyrule Warriors and Dragon Quest Heroes have.

Anybody who attends a midnight launch in the UK will have theres before he does.

He obviously hasn't thought of the likes of Australia/New Zealand either.

Pretty much the whole world will get one before him on launch day.

Someone needs to pull him out of the queue and sit on him for five minutes as they begin to open.

Less than four weeks left. That's basically three weeks.

Which means in...oh I don't know... four days, we can start posting gifs of the big freaky robot lass from Total Recall. And then you know you're cookin'.

Just bought myself the perfect phone companion for the switch. It's the Lenovo P2 and it has a 5000mah battery.

It comes with an OTG adapter to charge other devices if required and a hardware power saving button so I can conserve all of the battery for charging the switch.

[Interview] Frozenbyte talks Has-Been Heroes, developing for Switch, more

Quote

We’ve heard that Has-Been Heroes will be supporting HD Rumble on Switch. Can you explain how it’s used in the game?

HD Rumble in Has-Been Heroes will work when you use the spells. You’ll “feel” the spells moving across the screen with a corresponding rumble effect. It’s pretty neat!

I still find it hard to believe what they've managed to fit into so small a form factor. The tablet, the actual console, itself is only about 30 grams heavier than an xbox 1 controller, that's insane! and with joycons attached it's only another 100 grams. The entire package seems to be have been really well thought out and designed.

Stop it. I don't need this. I have a Wii U for off-TV play, with tonnes of amazing stuff still to discover. Like MK8, SM3DW, Pikmin 3, Bayonetta 2, w101, Xenoblade, Yoshi's WW. I never travel unless I'm driving, and have rllmuk for the shitter. I also have a 3DS, a Bone and a PS4/PSVR with their own piles of shame.

I would be buying this purely for a slightly better Zelda, then shelving it to go back to the Wii U and everything else until Odyssey. I am literally the last person in the world who needs this.

And yet here I fucking am. Checking back into this thread hourly. Reading Ramone posts and nodding FFS.

I probably need help.

Kojima added: "I feel like cloud technology is what everything will eventually move to. It's further behind right now than I think where people thought it would be at this point, but I think it will go there, and when the infrastructure is ready, you'll be able to play everything, on every device, anywhere. The Switch is the predecessor to this step."

In before Edge's next SoundBytes section.

Sorry to ruin your day then but you might as well sell your Wii U. Sure, tons of amazing games to discover. No doubt about that. But those are also games that will probably be ported over later in the Switch's life. That is, if MK8 Deluxe is any indication(along with Nintendo's current obsession to port Wii U games to the 3DS). Ports with additional content in order to entice double dippers like you and me obviously. ;)

Speaking of which, the producer of Splatoon 2 has confirmed that that game will be a full-on sequel. With that bit of knowledge, I find myself craving for a port of the original for the Switch. Splatoon 1 with decent local multiplayer, the original soundtrack and improved loading times? Sign me the fuck up!(along with a Bayonetta collection on cartridge. There's a good love, now get on it Nintendo!)

Stuff like this has to happen, right?

Would be the best thing ever,,,though keeping the screen up-right on it's side might result in Nintendo selling yet another (over-priced) accessory.

Edit: Which I'd happily pay for.
