It's like they're afraid of actually selling that thing lol. Imagine if that had come out for €20. That would've been somewhat of a reasonable price and probably would've sold a boatload as well. No one in their right mind is going to pick up Bomberman on day 1 for full price.

Should.

Some of the numbers further up suggest that in portable mode it's less powerful than a Wii U.

It isn't. Even at the lowest estimate, 150 gflops it's still better than a wiiu (which was around 192 gflops but Nvidia measure them differently and are more efficient). Could the gflops with a way better and much more modern architecture and you have a protable machine more powerful than the wiiu. Also more memory, better CPU etc. The whole package is just better. I mean it's effortlessly handling wiiu games which were probably quickly ported over and have been designed to use the GPU and CPU etc to it's fullest.

that's the only feature I want in a bomberman game, tbh, maybe add some bomberladies but I'm not that fussed

There is a typically pink one in the preview pictures. Oh the blue cat ears wearing one could be female too I suppose.

Although I think I'll wait until it's nearer £20 :P

I'm waiting to see what the IAPs are. Should be free if you still have to pay after buying it!

If they launched it for 15 quid, who wouldn't buy it for their launch console? It'd be amazing playing it huddled around the unit with a bunch of joycons. Not one person has ever enjoyed the single player mode in a Bomberman game, because they're always crap. £40 is ludicrous.

Exactly, its not a game I'm going to buy even at £20 on launch day or pre order but in that window of the few days you have had the new console all bets are off and its the kind of game you would defi pick up for £15/20 without batting an eyelid!
