Supports 8 players online according to a neogaf thread. Also a 50 stage story mode.

Still looks a bit naff though, would rather a VC release.

All about the local experience! 75 quid for another set of joy cons feck

I've not played binding of isaac or shovel knight. Both worth playing? Eyed them up a couple of times on Steam but not taken the plunge, portable Switch versions might be the final straw.

Shovel Knights is all kinds of amaze whichever version you buy:

When I read posts like this I can't help but feel that the games industry is doomed. Doomed to be a landscape of carbon copy App Store rip offs made in sweat shops.

Come on, Barnard, you can't be charging 47 quid for that. you just can't. 7 quid, fair enough but where did they get the other 40 from?

Yeah, you're right. £47 is bloody steep. I'd bite for £25 though. I'm sure once the usual independent web stores get hold of the stock and work out how close to cost price they can flog the physical stock for things will settle down.

The prices being bandied about look like the bonkers prices they charge on the eShop.

I love bomberman but 47 quid wtf! Compared to steam or any other reasonable measure it is completely Wrong.

ive got a 360 downstairs with an ace version of bomberman. not even I can justify that, and I literally buy anything half decent....

37 quid and I'd have gone for it. Nintendo so alarmingly out of touch...Kids can't afford anything like these prices it is rediculous.

genuinely gutted

@Lorfarius - your commentary is excellent, made me laugh. Need to turn the game soundtrack down though because I struggle to hear you sometimes.

The game does indeed look very good. I think I'll wait till its released for Switch to play it.

Yeah I altered it on later vids. Was my first time using that mic so all a bit new, glad you enjoyed it!

I assume everyone has seen this already, but Pokémon sun and moon are rumoured to be coming to the switch as Pokémon stars:

Yea but nintendo still hasn't actually confirmed it.  So it's still just a rumor.  But considering the gamestop slip-up it does seem likely to be the case.

This think launches in less than 50 days, they're unlikely to be dev kits.

They are demoing using developer code which locks the games to specific modes/features. They have to use dev-kits/test-kits for that...

I've not been able to keep up with the thread but what are the prices of digital games on the e-shop?  I much prefer an all digital software library as I'm used to Steam.

They're announcing the online/digital stuff soon; it's pay to play online and they've not announced the pricing on that.

I hope I can play online without using the app. I read on the official site that the app can "improve" friend communications and matchmaking. It'd better be optional if you're not arsed about voice.

The pricing and restrictions could very well put me off of the console. First Nintendo need to sell it to me, then I have to fucking sell all this to my wife.
