I think most packs will be the same but it's prolly worth sticking a preorder down just in case they understock the launch. Guarantee yourself a place at least and worry about the games later!

You'll have to explain that one to me. No issues with Vita, Wii U, PS4 or Xbox One preorders. In fact, with the Vita they kept reducing the price before launch and with the Wii U they honoured a £100 reduction mistake. I didn't use them for PSVR (only got the money for it on launch day and grabbed it from Argos) and PS4 Pro (Tesco knocked £50 off the price), but I intend to preorder my Switch them and don't doubt that I'll get it for launch.

Amazon are, and always have been, fucking shit. They've almost ruined this Christmas with their lies and delivery shambles. I've not really used them for a few years because they fuck every order up and their service is shite. They also seem to still operate a LIFO system for preorders which fucked me over several times with Wii, Wii U and 360 game preorders. I thought, it's been a few years, so gave them another go a few weeks back and lo - they have fucked everything up again.

 

I'll not be trusting them again.

Nothing works properly for you though.

 

You're almost right on the pre order stuff, basically never use prime if you preorder as they ship all the free super saver delivery stuff before prime and I've been stung before where they didn't have enough stock to fulfil my prime delivery.

 

they then bought the same item for me

from an Amazon seller and shipped it same day to me, it cost them about £120 in all for a £29.99 pre order item.

Is this just for pre order games type stuff as my general experience of Amazon is the exact opposite, barely a week goes by without order being delivered and over birthday/Christmas times barely a day - all via prime and 99% of the time delivered next day!?

I'm still waiting for stuff ordered on the 11th November and "out for delivery" two weeks ago.

 

I don't use Prime as I know people who do and its never on time.

Are they sellers or actual amazon, if amazon web chat with them and it will be sorted - any late prime deliveries get a free month and I've had 4 in a year - even had a delivery today having ordered yesterday evening, post on a Sunday - what a world we live in!!

Got to say that I've used lots of on-line retailers and although I've had problems with Amazon, I've not had any trouble actually sorting them out.

 

Contrasting my recent experience with Game and my Mini NES pre-order with problems I've had with Amazon is like night and day. I have Prime and when orders are late I've always contacted Amazon and without fail they have extended my Prime subscription by a month. When orders haven't turned up they've quickly dispatched a replacement and sent pre-paid labels to return the other one if it ever turns up.

 

I'll definitely be ordering my Switch from Amazon.

Amazon. I don't buy from third parties on there as I've been hit with fake goods (DS games, SD cards and USB sticks, amongst other things - it's as bad as eBay) before now.

Usually problems have been sorted, but by then it's too late, or it's unneeded hassle, or - in the case of a few preorders - useless as they've no more stock.

 

To be fair to Amazon themselves, often the issue is with their couriers. Who Amazon are ultimately responsible for, though.

Going to embarrass myself here but Mario's also wearing the armour infamously specific to warlord Yukimura Sanada - you can tell it's his because of the Sanada clan symbol of six golden coins arranged in two rows over each shoulder, as well as the stag-horned helmet.

 

Seeing as Sanada has been the poster boy for Koei's Samurai Warriors series since the beginning, and that the latest in the series is the Sanada-focused Sengoku Musou Sanada Maru, I wouldn't be surprised if this is linked to an announcement from KT - either a port of Nioh or something, an announcement of Sanada Maru for Switch or, heaven forbid, a hint towards Mario Warriors.

Hey... Don't tar all Amazon Market Place sellers with the same brush, some of us are pretty dilligent with what we send out, I'll admit, the fake DS and GBA games piss me off quite a lot, as thanks to them, the ability to list titles like Poekmon are unable to be listed by the majority of people :(

I doubt that feeling would last. If the music went 'wahwah' and they all did a little skip, you would be ploughing through them without mercy.

I still think a Heroes of the Storm - Nintendo like game would go down massively well. I know i would play the heck out of it! Only problem being that HOTS is better with a mouse and keyboard so I'm not really sure how they would do that on the switch.

 

Still, releasing it on the PC would be pretty assume for product awareness.
