Not getting the dread I felt during the Wii U reveal, but not sure this is going to do much to restore nintendo in the eyes of gamers.
It looks sleek and fun and the concept of switching from one form to another is done really well. The problem is no one is really crying out for this kind of functionality - only nintendo are - because they can't supply both a handheld and a home console with seperate software. So this solves a manufacturer's problem not a consumer one. It will sell to the same nintendo fans, canibalise sales that would have traditionally been spread across two seperate devices, and that's err it.

I'll get one, because zelda, and that new mario game looked very like mario 64. But I'm the converted, and Nintendo needed something which could reach outside that. Based on that video, they haven't.

i like how theve just started adding gaming engines aswell at the bottom to make it seme as if theres move devs on board.

]wonder if this will be the final nail in the coffin for nintendo. just a bit weird how they chose to show off ZELDA nba NEW MARIO some other shit ive already forgotten. like they wouldve either gone all out with games or just shown zelda and focussed on the console. instead they went inbetween which suggests they dont rly know what theyre doing again.

anyway, if the new pokemon games are on this ill buy it. gunna be interesting to have a mainline pokemon game with the graphics of a ps3 game. death of 3ds?
