I don't understand that spec leak. What is a promotional unit? Why are some measurements in cm and others mm? The home unit is bloody tiny if thats true.

A promotional unit is like the ones you saw for WiiU's, Basically a purpose built enclosed unit with a TV etc. Hence the fact that it's quite big in the measurements detailed. (notice the capacitative screen size mentioned.) Think of it like a big version of the portable system.

The home unit size would hint at it being a dock of some kind without a disc drive. Home consoles could be relatively small without disc drives and built in PSU's. Mini ITX PC boards are tiny things for example and could be way smaller without using DDR strips and having PCI-E sockets. The gigabyte BRIX systems for example are everybit as small as the home part mentioned and they can have core i5's in them. Actually looking at the size of a BRIX system it's nearly exactly the same.

I'll bet RDR2 won't be on NX.

I bet you're right considering all signs point towards it being less powerful than the XB1.

Which is fine because Nintendo have proven time and time again that even on lesser hardware they're still masters of their craft.

Nintendo get the ports from the big publishers who can farm them out to a third party or one of their dozens of studios no trouble, but the "do everything yourself" devs like Bungie, Blizzard and Rockstar are a bit harder to guarantee support from.

What's RDR2?

EDIT: Ah, Read Dead Redemption 2. I was thinking it was a tech abbreviation so it took me a moment!

I doubt it'll be on NX too.
