Does Super Mario 64 run a bit faster on Switch than my PAL copy would’ve done in 1996? It feels a little twitchier but maybe I’m just getting old. It’s still an absolute delight to play. Who would’ve thought it would age this well?

Doesn't work for me (SNES controller) :(

It lets me add it to the basket and go all the way through the payment screens before saying "Unfortunately, 1 of the items in your order is out of stock for your delivery location". Good old Nintendo.

Gameboy posters have turned up already, recorded delivery! Really great quality, nice and glossy and colourful, a lot bigger than I thought though. Well worth the points and £2 postage.

Mine have arrived as well and the quality makes me annoyed that I didn’t order the N64 posters when they were in stock.

Yeah, I saw those when bagging the Gameboy ones. Was a bit gutted as one was for Ocarina and looked fantastic. One of my fav games, would have loved that.

Cheers for posting about the posters, otherwise I would have had no idea they were available! 👍🏻

Anyone know if the ACA Metal Slug games are decent on the Switch? I have a few of them on PC, but having them all on the handheld feels like a much nicer idea :)

I have the first game and it’s fine, been a while since I played it mind, but from what I remember it was a good port.

Nintendolife seemed happy with the first one

Less so with 2, because of the slowdown

Happier with 3, but slowdown again

To be fair, they do point out that the originals had slowdown anyway so if your used to it, or expecting it anyway, then probably not a problem

This came out completely under my radar.

The Switch port of Remnant from the Ashes is looking really rather good. Having had a good look around I've ended up ordering the physical copy as I really like the idea of being able to play this handheld. Saving it for an upcoming hospital visit I've got.

what's this rumour of Next Level games working on a remaster of F-Zero GX for release this year?

PLEASE BE TRUE

There was a rumour going around about a remaster of GX before the last direct but the Next Level part of this latest rumour seems to have originated from someone who pays for Twitter Blue so it's hard to take them seriously.

Paging @Popoto the thread. Pretty sure he’s a rabid raging loonball mess of a cunt over missing these repeatedly 🫡

EDIT: As above ☝️

Cheers! Thankfully I was able to bag one for me and one for a mate a few months ago.

(I say thankfully because all my money this weekend is going into unwise 3DS purchases - but you already knew that)

Gaaaah, fucking Nintendo Store! I bought two of these last year and they screwed up my address, so I had to place a second order. And now the second order is still on their system and they think I've reached the lifetime limit of four controllers. Customer service told me this wouldn't be an issue in future when I spoke to them last September but I'm blocked from ordering, as I'd feared.

N64 Switch controllers available on the Nintendo store right now

Finally managed to get myself one!

What a legend, I’m still annoyed I missed the Snes pad last week but bagged this one!

Also, those online controllers are compatible with real hardware if you buy a blueretro controller receiver from 8bitmods.

I've used them, and they work perfectly.

Thanks. I wasn't really interested in getting one for the Switch, but this changes everything, so IFGO.

Word of warning... do NOT but the Switch port of Remnant ...     unless you want to loose hours of your life :)

It's great. Buttery smooth, fantastic gunplay and looks great on the OLED screen.  It really shows you how good the switch can be when you do it properly!

Port aside, I wish I could bind run to ANYTHING other than left trigger click but I'm loving this.  It's brilliant :)
