Has anybody any experience with an USB repair service? My brothers lite won’t charge despite trying lots of different home remedies and whilst there are a fair few online adverts for replacement of usb , I want to make sure it’s a service that won’t utterly brick his console.

thanks

Check out "The Cod3r" on Youtube, he offers a repair service, and you can watch all his previous repair video's, I sent him my OG Analogue NT and that came back working lovely :)

I bought a OLED Switch for my daughter, when she plays using console on its own with the controllers it keeps coming up saying that the controllers are disconnected.  I cant see anything visibly wrong with them, what are my options here as its pretty annoying for her?

In my experience, every EU game has the same version on the cartridge so will have usually have English, German, Spanish etc. There might be some exceptions but I've never come across any and my Switch collection is from all over the place.

I can confirm from experience that they will effectively be the English language version (same goes for most French and Spanish packaging). I have Dragon Quest XI, Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth and Sea of Solitude in German packaging and all are essentially the same beyond that exterior packaging.

TECH SPECS

We currently don't know the tech specs, but Nvidia have provided some of the tech, and it seems likely it is based on the Tegra 2 chip.

Here's all the bits, and how they fit together:

So I've regained access to my Nintendo account (long story phones, authenticators and MFA involved!).

Quick question and its not 100% clear on the Nintendo site so thought I'd ask here.

Can I have more than one console linked to my Nintendo account? My son grabbed my account a while back and has his console attached to it. If I make another console the "Primary console" can he still log in to my account on his Switch and access the content I have bought? :)

PLEASE HAPPEN

https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2022/12/game-freak-registers-trademark-for-potential-pocket-card-jockey-sequel

Quote

Game Freak, the core developer behind the Pokémon franchise, released a much loved 3DS title back in 2013 called Pocket Card Jockey. Exclusive to Japan for three years, it eventually made its way to other regions in 2016 to positive reception.

Now, it appears there may be a new game on the horizon, as a trademark for ‘ソリティ馬 Ride On!' (Solitaire Horse: Ride On!) has been filed by Game Freak (thanks for the spot, VGC). It's not clear at this stage whether the game is a sequel or a remaster of the original, but either way, count us in!

Can someone give me a hand.

I’ve got my account and my sons account on a switch.

he’s linked in the family as a child.

but he can still run games I would rather he cannot run.

is there a way I can password my account and limit his access to age inappropriate games?

I can’t work it out at all.

I have, however, got my brain around time limiting his account.

It’s all on the Nintendo Parental Controls app. You’ll need a phone or tablet.

I’ve got him set as “young child” but it will still allow me to open metro 2033 under his account.
