Just the kind of game you want to play with friends...

Also, 'one-finger mode for when you're doing other things'. Jesus Christ.

That was the point in the trailer where it crossed the line from "I know some people who might be amused by this" to "Nope, die in several fires".

The cheap eBay ones all seem to be invites to be part of a family membership. I'd rather have my own!

Oh really? Hmmm. To be honest I'd rather give my money directly to Nintendo with stuff like memberships. At least I know where it's going.

I have a bad left JoyCon drift issue. I contacted Nintendo this morning and they say it will cost me to send it in for repair (UK). However, I've read reports online that other UK users have had their joycons repaired for free, even though they are out of warranty.

Has anyone here successfully had a free Joycon repair out of warranty?

That, er, looks exactly like a pro controller.

Hopefully...because it's cheaper and has those remappable buttons as well. Be good to have a cheaper, decent, wireless alternative that has all the same functionality (including gyro etc).

it sounds like it’s meant to be a mini pad which makes me wonder how ergonomic it is.

It's only a little bit smaller than a pro - they give a silhouette comparison in the vid.
