After about a month of using Fitness Boxing I noticed that the vibration in both joycons became significantly weaker across all games. I disconnected, reconnected joycons etc but no difference. I presume that all the shaking from  punch throwing etc has damaged it.  Think Nintendo would be liable to repair it? As it’s Nintendo software I wouldn’t expect using it would damage the joycons.

Sick of the joycons I need a real controller.

pro controllers are pretty costly. What are good budget options I can go for that won’t be completely terrible and break after a short period?

Also is the pokken controller good for 2D games?

this was recommended earlier in the thread and I’ve been happy with it. Had it for a couple of days and it’s been used for 2D fighters as well Skyrim sessions. Happy for it so far and I can finally give Street Fighter collection a proper go.

I think Hori do a wired pro controller with no gyro or fancy rumble for 20-30 quid iirc.

Interestingly*, the physical copy of Bioshock Collection gives you 3 different icons on the home screen for each game. Claiming reward points on one includes the caveat that it’s for all

3 games (which is reasonable of course but I’d have thought it would be one icon and 3 games in it).

I was able to start Infinite without the software update, so I imagine the game card includes a bit of each game and the rest to be downloaded. Total download is 31GB.

*perhaps not actually interesting.

How many of the games are on the game card?  The ones that aren't, are they downloads, which can be downloaded to multiple consoles or are they codes which can only be used once?

Rumour was all three games are on the card at roughly 1/3 of the game.

Still apparently perfomance of Bioshock games and Borderlands is a pretty solid locked 30fps with borderlans being native res and bioshock using dynamic res but still very high. Xcom though has a pretty rough framerate. It tries to stick to 30 and bounces around a fair bit. Still it's not so bad as it's a strategy game. It also never had a constant framerate on other consoles.

All 3 of them but, from what I can tell, only a small amount of each if that makes sense. You stick the game card in and you get a separate icon for each game pop up on your home screen.

The downloads are tied to the game card, ie: no code.

Ah, that's good then.  Will pick this up.  I don't mind downloads like Spyro, which aren't codes and can be done again and again.  I hate the Devil May Cry way, where several of them are codes.

Yeah, the resale will still be there which was my thinking. It's not a full price release so probably harder to justify using a 32GB card like the Witcher 3 did.
