Anyone know how long NBA2K is going to be reduced for?  Fancy it but the memory card in the Switch is 32GB and don’t have any larger ones around so will have to order a new one if I go for it, or can I pay and not download the game?

You can pay for it. It'll automatically try and download, but if there's no space you can just cancel the download. You'll still own the game.

Reminds me of the film Shaolin Soccer.  A brilliant film.   Don't check out any trailers. I haven't found a single one that doesn't do major spoilers .  Just go find it and watch it

I assume a full fat Switch is still next to impossible to buy. Want to surprise my nieces as they’re both massive Animal Crossing fans and they’ve all had a bit of a rough year. Anyone had any luck with the stock monitoring sites?

Bioshock collection. I know there’s a hefty download for two of the games but are they just a software update/patch or does it contain codes in the box for two of them?

I want to get the physical edition and just thinking about resale value here.

Not sure if this has been bought up yet but Bioshock (and borderlands) aren’t even listed on the eshop anyway.

My parents got one relatively easily in the past week using stock informer. You just need to be pretty quick as soon as they come in stock somewhere (they got one from Argos)

I got lucky at a Tesco so maybe try there next time you do a food shop?

Talking about releases, are there any surprises to be expected this year apart from everything we know so far (Mario collection, Bioshock, Borderlands etc.)? The Switch is sitting around idly at the moment as I've played through most of the games that interest me.

Examples of surprises that we expect?

Does Mr.Driller count?  I was surprised when it was announced.  Looking forward to it in a month.

I've also pre-ordered Namcot Collection.

I don't know, maybe rumored versions of F-Zero or Wave Race or more third party ports? Is it likely that there will be upcoming (next 6-12 months) games that have not been announced yet?

Yes. We didn't know about Paper Mario until last month (or was it this month?)

Nintendo will more than likely have some unannounced stuff up their sleeves.

:lol::sealclap:

Yes, there’ll be as yet unannounced big games coming out within the next 6-12 months. Paper Mario Origami King only got announced a couple of weeks ago for release in July, for example.

Pikmin 3 is the next surprise that won’t actually be a surprise to anyone. Then Metroid Prime Trilogy.

The big holiday game is rumoured to have tires in it.

From February:

https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2020/02/rumour_the_major_switch_title_this_holiday_season_could_have_tires_in_it

A few weeks ago, the "prolific" leaker Sabi – who has a strong track record – said a new Paper Mario game and 2D Metroid title would be released this year.

Well, that leaker got a tick for Paper Mario.

I'd guess a Samus Returns port, its graphics are hi-res when not shackled by the 3ds screen and it looks like it was made with some futureproofing in mind. It only sold 270k copies and would do better on Switch, I think - and would be an easy way to help bridge the MP4 gap.

I'd love a new Wave Race more than anything, but I'll eat my own balls if we actually get one.

Aqua Moto was very mediocre.

Well, it's E3 time and Amazon France have just put up a load of unnamed Switch SKUs which were probably going to be announced if the conference had gone ahead.

- 4 games from Nintendo

- 3 games from Bethesda
- 2 games from Square
- 2 games from Warner
- 2 games from Ubisoft
- 1 game from Take Two
- 1 game from Capcom

On Switch, it's not in the same league as WaveRace obvs, Riptide Renegade GP is worth a look to kind of, sort of, scratch that itch a bit. It's almost always in the sale for about £3 as well:

Don't pay full whack for it when it's not on sale - but for anything under a fiver it's worth a go.

Mario 3D World, Pikmin 3, Mario All-Stars, A surprise
Fallout 3, New Vegas, 4
Dunno
Batman Arkham Asylum / City
Far Cry (not sure which one), Watchdogs 2
GTA V
Resident Evil 7

easy.
