Get a USB-C charger that’ll do as many watts as possible. I think a USB-C laptop charger is practically guaranteed to do enough power to run the dock, but a USB-C tablet charger will charge it fast enough for handheld use.

If he’s just charging it, it’ll be fine with any usb charger.

Yeah, if he's running the dock, needs to be the official model.

If it's charging the unit directly, other chargers are fine.

Greetings fellow Switch owners! A quick question for Mario Party owners - can I play my friend over the internet if I buy it? We play on a semi-regular basis but obviously can’t anymore due to the lockdown and it would be cool to play on the line instead.

Bonus question - can we play, for example, 4 player with 2 local players on each end of the cups and string?

I will need to use the dock, yeah.  Bloody ~£20 for a plug :(

Hello all

I apologize in advance if this is not the place to ask such a question, but I had a look in the Online forum and could find no suitable thread.

I would really love to play a two-player game of Super Tennis SNES via the Switch online mode. However, thanks to the lack of message system on the console, I am sensing the only way to arrange this is via a forum.

(I actually tried with an Animal Crossing friend, a friend I made having been paired up for a match oh Mario Tennis Switch. I magically managed to get to visit his island, and we tried, via the text-messaging, to set up something, but it was painstaking trying to organise, and once we had the SNES game open, neither of us received any match invite. That was that.

So my question(s):

How is online play on the SNES "App" on Switch in terms of connection reliability?

And, is this the right thread to ask if anyone is "up for a match"?

Thanks so much in advance.

Outer Wilds and Half Life: Alyx for Labo are next for sure.

Outer Wilds is already confirmed. :)

Edit - Wait, I could've sworn I saw a tweet about this from the developer (and I'm not thinking of Outer Worlds!). I must have dreamed it.

I thought it was too.

Edit: Outer Worlds.

It's a little worrying that it hasn't been announced yet. Perhaps it's not technically possibly on the Switch? Is this a dumb thought? I mean, nearly of all Annapurna's lineup is on the Switch with the exception of Telling Lies, Wattam, and Outer Wilds. And the latter is probably their most high profile release yet.

If the Outer Wilds does get a release on Switch it’ll probably be the most impressive port on the console. It doesn’t look it, but it’s infinitely more complex in its systems than Witcher 3. It’d be fantastic if they can get it going though, as it’s definitely a game that seems a perfect fit for the machine.

I bought Gris yesterday - first time I’ve bought myself a game rather than the kids in years.
played non stop till 11pm last night.
It’s an extraordinary game - really magical in places. Such a treat to play something without the standard mechanics of health and whatnot.
Well worth the 7 quid sale price atm.

I didn’t even realise Disaster Report 4 was getting a Switch release, and it’s out now - £54

There's a thread I made for it.

It's fantastic, but massively janky as hell. I paid £36 for it from The Game Collection before release, but they seem to have upped the price to £43 now.

Had the money sat in my account so watched the video and bought it, thanks for the recommendation. The art style helped a lot too, looks fantastic; reminded me very much of the American artist Audrey Kawasaki, wonder if she had anything to do with it?
