Completed Celeste today. Was it good? Yeah, I suppose?

Did I enjoy it? No, not really. I was hoping for air-punching every time I finished a difficult room, but instead I just thought “thank fuck I won’t need to do that again”.

Completed the original again straight afterwards and somehow enjoyed that a lot more.

I think I had a similar experience to you with this at times. Although, it just saved itself from typing over the edge for me. I haven't finished the last chapter though as I could see it going that way.

Remember Celeste has brilliant difficulty options if you're finding it too hard to enjoy.

If I'd completed it using any of them (and I didn't know about them until I'd nearly completed it anyway) I don't think I'd have enjoyed it more as I'd always have thought I'd cheated a bit.

Once completed, I turned most of them on to go after strawberries and... I'm not sure I can be bothered.

One of my left joycon is now constantly disconnecting. I suspect this may be due to my new TV.

Is the foam thing still the fix? If so, where do I get the foam?

I've got some foam somewhere from where I did my own fix way back when.

Let me have a look tomorrow and if I find it I'll let you know.

I’ve just purchased a family online account and setup a Nintendo account for my daughter which I am the admin of, and I’m about to set up her Lite. Does that mean she can then download  any eshop games I’ve purchased? I’m also right in thinking that to play Minecraft together I’ll have to purchase it again on her Switch?

Nope. Only those games on her account.

Yes.

EDIT: Hang on - Minecraft is working for you on the Switch? How?

Minecraft, yeah it seems ok, why what’s up with it? (If issues with multiplayer I won’t buy it).

It’s broken. Can’t load or create worlds - it just crashes. Has done ever since 1.12. Lots of reports on the bug tracker, still not working for a lot of people. Seems to only affect those who have a physical copy.

If you have a MS account and play on an online instance, it works (apparently - I haven’t either), but locally, it’s fucked. Something to do with them adding foxes to the game but the Switch version save games don’t support it.

Ah ok, I loaded my world last night and it appeared ok, I have a download copy so should that be ok?

I think you’re more likely to be ok, yes. Dunno for sure!

This is one of the many hundreds of threads about just this specific issue on the bug tracker:

This isn't to do with them switching over from the original Minecraft: Switch Edition over to the newer multi-platform release, is it?

It has always being a bit slow loading but the last update seems to have knacked it a bit. As dekay mentioned, if you have your Microsoft account attached it seems to make it a bit smoother for some reason.
