Yeah I’m playing a bit of this once the kids are asleep. I’m rather bemused by all the options and credits and whatnot but is dead easy to jump in and out of. My main grip is the lack of in-car view.
in some places it almost feels a bit like MSR - which is a very good thing indeed.

I think it's just me and @moosegrinder at the moment.

Cheers, I'm curious about the size more than anything in terms of comfort and whether it works well as a PC controller.

It’s alright! Works perfectly, well designed (like anything else I’ve had from 8bitdo) looks nice. Feels a tad more plasticky than the switch life does and you can see the indicator/player number light through the shell.

Not sure how much I’ll use it - having a separate controller for a machine that it’s designed to be held in your hands all the time is a bit odd, I guess - but it’s nice to have in my collection.

Loving the switch so far. Has beaten the 360 to be my personal fav console since the GameCube. The seamless transition from handheld, to console then to multi player device is fantastic. The games, a focus more traditional gaming experiences, multiplayer gaming and getting those more abstract titles that are usually the domain of the PS Vita.

Only owned one for a couple of months but have  a small collection up already. No more games until next year I’ve promised myself.

I haven’t played this many games in such a short time for at least a decade. Had BOTW but didn’t feel it so sold it to buy Skyrim.

It is aye.

And yeah it's a fun little thing to waste ten or twenty minutes on, grind some dailies, get that Skinner box itch scratched.

I've played a little. Don't think I have unlocked Clubs / Online yet.

Day one Joycons have finally fucked it a few days into my hols. I bought half a dozen big games in excitement for lounging around playing Switch during the day. Might have to actually go in the pool or build a sandcastle. So tempted to just slide the Switch down a grid.

What's wrong with them?

Drifting and getting stuck up and down. I have another set at home and I barely ever play handheld but since I'm on my hols, I'm a bit stuck. Can't be arsed with compressed air or contact cleaner or any of that. Just gonna fling it like a frisbee straight into a postbox.

Send em me, I'll fix them*. Either contact cleaner or a replacement will sort it for sure.

*Or try to.

Picture stolen from elsewhere. Tesco currently running a promotion on selected Switch games. 2 for £60. Not sure what titles are available or whether it varies by store. Online they only have Mario Kart and Splatoon.

That’s a bloody good deal.

A few quid cheaper than the buy one get one half price deal a lot of retailers had a few months back. It’s cool that they include Luigi's Mansion 3 and Link to the Past. I’d be on it if they had those two. There’s no Tesco Extra near me but stopped off at one on the way home. Alas they don’t stock either.  Tesco Direct literally only have 2 Switch games. Must be the only retailer who’s online stock is lower than its instore.

Hopefully similar deals pop up from rival retailers.
