I’m loving this Obra Dinn game, it’s such a fresh experience.

I always get the feeling though with this sort of thing that something in the mechanics is happening that I don’t understand while I’m moving forwards. Like I’ve solved 6 fates, but is that more luck than judgement? I don’t know, but it’s great.

It's fun in multiplayer.

Ah. But even then.

Not just you, but I played it without waggle, maybe that adds something?

“little” I suspect. It’s no Mario party, that’s for sure.

For any of you that like Uridium - hyper sentinel (Uridium style reboot) is currently 82p on the Nintendo store (down from £9.99).

I was going to take a punt on this last week too glad I held off.... :) Not sure what to make of it yet its much busier on screen than Uridium... :D

I thought it was a bit rubbish. The camera is too zoomed in so you can’t see hazards far enough away. Which, as there’s bucket loads of stuff happening all the time, makes it a purely reaction based shooter.

I just got frustrated dying from stuff I didn’t see and gave up. I only spent a pound or two on it though.

This is my initial thoughts but it may grow on me... love a good shooter and its kind of got nice heritage. I think on my first couple of plays it seems as there is simply too much "bling" on the screen and stuff happening. Seems worse than Defender or Resogun!!! I'll give it some time though... and well 82p?!

Although I'd rather have Mr Braybrook have done an update... love the purity and simplicity of the original Uridium. In fact a compilation of just his original work would be quite a lovely thing on the Switch... Gribbleys Day Out, AlleyKat, Uridium (and +) and Morpheus.

That's a good idea but how have you missed Paradroid off that list?!

:) Indeed!!!!! Oh my...

In fact a port of the Amiga versions of Paradroid and Uridium would be a good start (with the 64 originals on there too).

I picked it up for $0.02 a few weeks back :)

From the Japans? I got them on release of Odyssey for £50 and they're by far the best. Until they make dual orange ones, of course.

From the Japan’s. I have ummed and err’d about buying them for ages, so of course they cost me more now.

are those pokeball things actual caps or just stickery bits? My nephew decided to chew the top of the sticks on his joy cons (wee arsehole)

They’re caps. I got them on amazon, I think. Not official but look rather lovely and way more comfortable than the hori jobs. And I don’t really even like Pokemon that much.

Have the latest revisions of the joycon addressed the drop out? I've not been keeping abreast of the situation and my original set are a little worse for wear, almost dead.

I've been fortunate enough not to ever get drop out on my launch machine packed in greys, and the neon blue/red I got just after launch.

Tell you what, I get joy con drift and have been able to fix it using contact cleaner (though this requires a repeat every so often) but the new pair feel a lot more sensitive on the sticks, I guess that goes over time.

I'd forgot I ordered one of these. It's arriving at some point today (what a day!), will post impressions.

Cheers, I'm curious about the size more than anything in terms of comfort and whether it works well as a PC controller.

If I didn't have the Satisfye grip already then I'd be quite interested in that, seeing as the Pro Controller is so comfy. It means having two things charged up, though, but I suppose the Pro's battery lasts for ages anyway.

Cross posting this with the eShop thread as I have no idea where anything is supposed to go, I've made a club on Asphalt 9 if anyone's playing. Searching RLLMUK Racing should find it and I'll approve as people apply.

...please don't leave me on my own.

This is really good.

The fact that it's a F2P game isn't too bad for me, the energy system is per car not game wide which is nice.

And as it's based on a mobile game the races/challenges are quite short. So I'm able to enjoy my 15~30 minute gaming sessions I try to squeeze in a day.

The fact that it plays like burnout and was free are just the cherries on top.

Yeah I’m playing a bit of this once the kids are asleep. I’m rather bemused by all the options and credits and whatnot but is dead easy to jump in and out of. My main grip is the lack of in-car view.
in some places it almost feels a bit like MSR - which is a very good thing indeed.
