I've got a load of them. It's like a pension but I can play them while I wait to get old.

Last I checked Human Fall Flat was going for about £100 at CEX. Daft.

Holy shit, just saw what the (IMO rather lacklustre) port of Worms WMD is selling for on eBay. Time to get mine listed!

On that note has anyone used Limited run games? They seem to have a lot of bad feedback

I had an "almost " a full Switch set up until Turok 1 & 2, then I looked at the shelf and decided they were mostly games I don't care about, and getting a full set is going to cost thousands.

Have got the Yooka Laylee deluxe box set with repro N64 cart, the Windjammers big box set, Bloodstained Curse one ( well, 2 of them, I can't help myself, standard AND limited versions ) plus loads of the normal releases, got a few of the SRG ones as well, but I think I am done unless it is something really awesome.

Oh, and Axiom Verge for the Wii U , yes, it's region locked I know, but a Wii U game getting released in 2019 was a novelty :p

Cool, thanks for that. Would have loved the Windjammers one. I bit the bullet on River City Girls one as its something I’d definitely want a physical copy of. I’ve also recently ordered physical copies of:

Collection of Mana

Darius Cosmic Collection

Katamari Damacy rerolled

Capcom Belt Collection

No more Switch games, or games in general this year! It’s going to make me poor. But Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Links Awakening... too many games...

Sorry gotta be controversal. Yoshi Crafted World was really an awful game.

Bland level design, horrible music and just not very fun to play.

Unfortunately, ever since Yoshi Island on the SNES it's taken a downward spiral. Nintendo for some reason decided to turn it into a more kid friendly game after the SNES version (maybe not to the extent of Kirby, but still). I have owned or at least tried most of the Yoshi games and they just lack the challenge or inventiveness of the Mario games.

For one thing, the levels are way too long. We are talking 10 minutes on average - and if you miss a challenge you will have to re do the entire stage again. This will happen A LOT trust me.

Level design just didn't do it for me either,  apart from a few levels i just didn't think much of it. The ghost house level was decent and i wanted more like that.

It just seemed bland like the NSMB games. At least Woolly World tried a few different things but not enough IMO.

Oh did i mention that HORRIBLE music?

I'm a big Yoshi fan but it pains me to see his (or hers?) games treated like this :(

Yep, I got Mana also, opened the envelope, stuck it straight on the shelf, they're all still sealed !

I'm the idiot that bought those Street Fighter 2 and Megaman snes rereleases at some ungodly price, and then got stung by customs :(

The Messenger arrived at the weekend, 34.99 USD, plus shipping, then had to give HMRC and Royal Mail another £13 on top :(

100% agree. Halfway through and while it’s cute, I just got bored. Doubt I’ll see it out.

Wouldn't it be cheaper just to import the Japanese versions, rather than using LRG?  Or is that what you actually did, and I misunderstood?

I’ve got to where I last gave up with Super Metroid... can someone tell me if there is a simple way to stop having to thrash about like fuck to get out of the quick sand. It drives me nuts.

You get an item soon which makes it easier to avoid being in the sand in the first place but nah; that quicksand is the worst thing in the game.

I've really enjoyed my play through so far - and it's been long enough that I'd forgotten a whole bunch of cool stuff.  But the wall jump and the quick sand are broken.  It might be cheating, but the rewind feature is making a big difference.  Sure, I lose the tension of trying to find the next save point while on one point of health - but I've got Dark Souls to play for that kind of stuff.

Wall jump ain't broken. If anything it's too easy in Super. Somersault into wall, move from wall, see change in sprite (literally moving from the wall) and press jump again. Repeat ad infinitum. You can even do so on a single wall, no opposing surface needed.

As for the quicksand, moving left and right with some jumps is best IIRC, mashing jump works but it really frustrating.

Why people comment on rewind being one thing or the other is beyond me. It's part of the game now.

Yeah the walljump in Super Metroid is magnificent. I really didnt enjoy the changes to Samus' handling for Fusion anywhere near as much.

all I know is that I find wall jumping really really hard to pull off.  I've managed 4 in a row and I've managed once or twice to get to areas that I sohuldn't have been able to by jumping just vertically... but I know I find it hard to pull off reliably.  Every other game that has wall jumping is much much easier to do.

The quicksand can piss off though.  Thankfully by the sounds of it, it's just a couple of rooms and I'm not far from getting something that helps with it.

Cracking game though.  I'd probably still put Zero Mission above it so far but remember, I never played Super Metroid on release, never had a SNES and didn't actually properly play Super Metroid until it appeared on the Wii VC.

Zero Mission is the logical conclusion to the series in terms of gameplay. But man, the atmosphere in Super is just magic. :)

I picked it up with built up credit (put cards aside the moment it was announced). Thursday cannot come soon enough.

Edit: @Darhkwing

I think the only thing holding me back is that Zelda is out this week too. I'll grab it somepoint soon hopefully. Intrigued to see what the high resolution graphics pack is at it seems to like nice as it is.

Is this out on any other consoles?

Xbox 360, PS3... ^_^

Nah this version is Switch only. It's got all of the DLC and from what i have heard it full to the brim with content. The only thing lacking is online multiplayer but i think thats coming soon. You can even use the gamecube pad for it's analogue triggers :o

oh definitely... In many ways I wish I didn't know that I got to Meridia by using the power bomb... that must've been a great AHA! moment back in the day.

Random thought: I would assume with the SNES games being available with Nintendo Online, that we can expect N64 games to follow suit? Would they avoid this considering the Ocarina of Time remake is currently an existing game selling on the 3DS? Could maybe Game Boy Advance games be next?
