Cheers all for the suggestions, will have a nose through when I get home tonight and see if any have demos and take a look at the dreaded youtube site :)

Vostok Inc has a demo but frankly, if you're going to download that you may as download the game because once you start playing you'll have to anyway.

Broforce is coming to the Switch!

OK so it has been around for ages and the framerate is a shonky mess even on the PS4 but it's a good game!

If the PS4 version was shonky I don’t hold much hope for the Switch version

I paid £30 and I'm absolutely loving it. Excellent game.

Does anyone know what happened to Gunbird 2? It was definitely there the other week, but no sign now.

It's still up on the Japanese store if that helps.

Sushi Striker is well worth twenty quid, in my opinion. Play it with a stylus if you can, though. Linking and flinging plates makes much more sense that way and it's clearly designed with that control scheme in mind. Nintendo should've bundled one in with the Switch version, really..

I'm probably about 70% through the story and it keeps up the variety well.

Looks like someone really missing the Neo Geo Pocket...

Still, after they did a Wild Guns remake, Natsume is doing one for Ninja Masters as well. Tentatively named Ninja Masters Again, it's supposed to be a remake of the seminal SNES beat'em-up of yesteryear in the same vein as Wild Guns Reloaded, and set for a 2019 release.

Seems like Ninja Warriors Again is simply the Jap. name of SNES Ninja Warriors. So it's probably just a port.

Argh... Those fake scanlines are ghastly. I wish more devs knew how they should be properly implemented. :(

Can I be honest here, I am rather sick of the faux-retro visual type. Makes me lose interest in something straight away, feels like just a lazy cliche these days.

Hyper Sentinel has a terrible CRT overlay when you select the Spectrum style graphics.

I played my speccy on a decent television thank you very much, not all of us had a shifty 14" Matsui.:quote:

Supposedly not, an enhanced port according to somebody who claims to have source. And one those words might be considered to be racist in the modern age...

Anyone have experience with joycon repair through Nintendo? How much are they charging?

Left joycon has been having the 'stick goes left by itself' problem. Tried cleaning, works for awhile but returns quickly back to going left by itself.

Right joycon's SL/SR buttons don't seem to work when I tried 2 player the other day. Odd, considering so irregularly used. I can only guess it's a result of putting the joycon grips the wrong way around at one point. The 4 lights no longer blink on that side either, it seems. (though works fine when connected to the switch or for single player games).

Edit: Made a topic on Ask the Forum.
