Seems like the majority of people here do. :p

Yea, I’m sure Rllmuk is very much representational of the general retail public.

I’m not complaining about how much it will cost me, I don’t intend to buy it (I already have it). I just think it’s a little high.

Yeah it was late and I’d misread your post. Won’t be many “average” users out there who does it.

The price is fine imo, £2 more than it is on Xbox and PSN for a port they’ve been cracking away at for over a year. It was obviously never going to be as low as the iOS version. Likewise when Xcom hits, it’s not going to be priced in line with the iOS version. That’s just an unrealistic and unfair expectation.

I've put a few hours into Ys VIII this week. It's really good. Reminds me of Skies of Arcadia a little (Characters mainly, not combat or art style). It's a very 'sunny' JRPG and I can see myself seeing it through to the end. Recommended.

I was just about to buy it but the store doesn't seem to have updated yet.

Yeah - very similar. The idea is to merge smaller coin denominations into larger ones; five 1s into a 5, two 5s into a 10, etc.

When you get to 500, matching two or more together will make them disappear.

It's all about the combos - stacking the coins so that completing your set of 1s will trigger a chain reaction with the surrounding coins that creates further sets.

I'm currently 4th in the world at caravan mode with about 170k. To give an idea of how bad that is, the current leader has 4mil plus :)

I think I'll pick that up in a while then. Cheers.

People buying wolfenstein when it's proven shit.

'proven shit' erm...in your opinion. It's reviewing pretty well (see below for an example), and has a decent metacritic score (81% currently)...I know quite a few people that have played it and liked it.

It might not be your thing, but it's clear it's worthwhile for some people. Let's not start any "people will buy anything" nonsense.

It's not shit, but a lot of people (me included) have found it frustrating and it's not as much fun as the first game. Having said that, the Switch doesn't have loads of FPS games, so if that's your thing it's probably a good buy.

But get DOOM first :quote:

I haven't played Wolfenstein 2 but it was one of those games that reviewed very well but got quite a big backlash when it came out. I've avoided even picking it up on sale for £9.99 because there were so many negative impressions for it.

The level design is shit but for 10 quid it's a steal and well worth it!

Yeah, it's not awful, but if you've played Old Blood or New Order it just pales in comparison. Weak level design, frustrating difficulty on anything above easy (this isn't a learn to play issue, it's a "oh the enemies absolutely fucking murder me as soon as they see me" thing), hit messaging to the player is handled incredibly badly and they completely fucked stealth, which was the secret best (and correct) way of playing New Order and Old Blood.

I bought it at launch on Xbox and it was without a doubt the most disappointing game I'd played last year. The story and cutscenes are excellent, gameplay less so. If you really have to play it, do yourself a favour and stick it on easy and just treat it as a stupid Nazi killing adventure.

Inside is £18? I would expect Limbo and Inside to be bundled together for like £15 max..

Also - as good as Inside was, i preferred Limbo.

To me these are the type of game that gain the least from being on switch.

If you have any of the other platforms, you can play both of these games for a fraction of the price.

They take literally a couple of hours to complete and have little to no replayability for most people, so does having them on a portable really add anything to the exerience, compared to the joy that is playing a big rpg or open world game on a portable device with instant sleep and resume functions?

So basically, these games are only really good for people who have a switch and nothing else, thereby making their age or

price on other formats irrelevant :)

Have I missed something here?
