I've got those for my PS4. Didn't realise you could use them for the Switch. Do you just plug the Bluetooth thing into the USB slots into the Switch dock, or did you have to get a separate adapter?

Does anyone have any experience ordering Switch games from base.com? I pre-ordered Ys VIII from them which is due out next Friday, but apparently they despatched it to me yesterday? Just wondering if their despatch dates are reliable or if they pull the same shit as GAME where despatched actually means sitting in a warehouse for several days before actual despatch to stop you from cancelling.

Has anyone backed / gone for one of these? I'm pretty tempted and I especially like what they've done with the R/H side grip which for me (and I've not got particularly big hands) is rather cramped / awkward.

If anyone's unsure as to how it might feel then I'd say that I'm pretty sure it'll be a big improvement, as a while ago I butchered a Joy-Con grip ( http://www.argos.co.uk/product/5316751) in an attempt to make things comfier and easier / more secure to hold (I think for me the lack of a secure / snug feel was making me grip the Switch tightly and in turn making it uncomfortable pretty quickly). It was pretty easy to do and for me it was waaaaay better than the stock setup. Before adding them there was no way I could play the Switch whilst lying in bed but with these fitted it's fine for as long as I like :).

I use them for everything. I got the dispatch for Ys VIII yesterday along with Mario Tennis, but only Mario had arrived this morning. I'm hoping they've sent it and it arrives tomorrow: I want to play a new JRPG.

Hmm. That suggests they might've held it back, which would be fair enough, if it weren't for the 'shipped' status. Guess we'll find out tomorrow!

Guys. Paladins is the fucking star. I don't normally go for this sort of game. While I like Overwatch it's never really grabbed me and demanded I keep playing. I've been playing Paladins for hours now. First undocked and then when my battery got low docked. As per the DF piece it keeps an almost locked 60 by agressive resolution scaling. So if you start peering at the screen and get picky you will notice a drop in IQ. I can't say it's affected my enjoyment one jot.

 

It's currently only available as a 25 quid founders pack with the full f2p launch later. However the founders pack automatically unlocks all the heroes (There's fucking loads of them) and all future ones.

It's got a really interesting loadout system and you can buy boosts ingame at spawn.

 

It's also got a battlepass if you'd like something to work for. Well worth it. If a team shooter can grab me by the balls it's got things going for it. Best part? Almost nobody ever wants to be a healer so I get to play my waifu Ying loads.

It's certainly not hiding where its inspirations come from but it's really, really fun to play. The F2P version as far as I'm away gives you a very limited selection of heroes to start with (I think it also rotates some of them in and out). I can't be doing with that bollocks.

 

The loadout system really lets you tweak your shit too. I really recommend it. Maybe try the f2p version on a different console or PC first?

Can anyone with the Anker 20100 Powerbank tell me how much charge you get out of it? For instance can I plug my Switch into it and it charges whilst I'm playing? Do you get one full charge rout of it before it needs recharging etc. Going to get one this week for my holiday

If it is genuinely 20100mAh then it should do 4.5 full charges of a Switch battery.

They aren’t 100% efficient, 3 easily maybe 4 would be my guess based on mine but it’s always been mixed charging with phones etc so can’t be accurate!

Yeah. My Ravpower 22000 gets me at least 4. Also charges while playing.
