Like I said, not had chance to try it out yet. But apparently it now has a rewind ability.  Plus the physical edition comes with a code for the digital soundtrack. I'll report back tomorrow when I've had a go.

No I meant what are the extras like, you know the stuff it comes with.

I’ve received a message saying Paladins closed because a software error occured three times this evening. I thought it might be a Paladins thing but then it happened with Pokemon Quest too.

 

Ugh, I think my Switch might be dying at the age of 15 months. Either that or it’s disapproving of my recent game choices.

Ah right. It's a bit shit, to be honest. A metal case in the shape of a US SNES cart, a digital soundtrack and a instruction booklet(!). I like that that's a selling point for the CE now.

Any recommendations for a newbie in the sale before it ends tomorrow?  Going to get Zelda which seems a no brainer, but not sure what if anything to get?  Don't want to spend too much but do want to save a bit of cash if possible on some bargains.  So far got Mario Odyssey and Hyrule Warriors.

Yep, Splatoon 2.

It's just charming and fun and deep - literally hundreds of hours of gaming time (if it clicks).

 

So, when Nintendo finally start charging for online play, they'll be able to ensure that an adult has essentially given permission (or paid for it themselves) so surely then, they'll release a proper chat headset.

It didn't come with a case though (apparently that bundle only sells in the States).  Can anyone recommend a decent carrying case please?

The official Nintendo case is fine for me, I prefer soft cases over hard though. I picked it up in Sharaf but its available everywhere. Comes with screen protectors but I never used them.

No, you need to access the eShop at least once on Switch in order to link the account to it. Once you've done that you can buy as you like online, but the account needs to be linked to a specific Switch first.
