Has anyone downloaded the PixelJunk Monsters 2 demo?  If you missed it on PS3, PSP and PS Vita and you like tower defense games you should check it out.

The format of the game hasn't really changed since the PS3 original, so it's very familiar. It fills a bit of a gap on Switch.

Yep, it's great. Love the "made from clay" art style too.

Think I'm going to get a Pro Controller finally (even though I adore the joy cons).

I think I read something about a dpad update coming to them. That true?

Any way to check I have the updated version?

Not sure about the update to the Dpad, but I do love my pro controller, it's super comfy in the hand.

I bought a Pro Controller and haven't used it once, probably because 99% of my Switch time is in Handheld, I cant think the last time I plugged it into the Telly.

I've just had 3 18 hour days on the trot at work, to say I'm looking forward to getting home to the Switch (and the Mrs I suppose) is a massive understatement. Going to treat myself to Donkey Kong

I think I’m the only person in the world who doesn’t find the Pro controller especially comfortable.

Only played with it for a couple of hours, but struggled to get the back of it comfortable against my fingers. It has hard angled edges that rest a bit awkwardly on the tops of my middle fingers - as I don’t use these for the triggers (I continuously switch my index fingers between L1 and L2, R1 and R2 as required) which might be just me.

I’d recommend trying before buying.

Are any of you lot now "StoryDriven_UK" on Twitter?

Seems I'm the only follower and I've never followed them, and they only have about 40 tweets over the last few days (all screenshots from Switch games) and nothing before although the account is from 2010.

Wondering who it was before they nuked the account and started anew with just me following!

I don't believe anybody in the world holds a controller with their index fingers over L1 & R1 and their middle fingers over the L2 & R2 triggers. That's madness. Normal sane human beings do as we do: index fingers at the ready over all 4 shoulder buttons. R-right?

However, put me in the category of people who think the Switch Pro-controller is the most comfortable and perfect design to hold in your hands.

I spent the weekend trying to train myself to fire with my middle finger, with my index finger on the shoulder buttons, just to get burst bombs off quicker when playing Splatoon 2.

It's just not natural, man. Your index finger just is the trigger finger for normal humans. Anyone who disagrees is a mutant.

I'd never heard of that Go Vacation game.

It looks trash. Is it actually going to be good?

You see I think the opposite, I think it looks really good but got a feeling it'll be shite. I hope not, would love a game to play with my little girl

To me it looks like a load of ropey minigames that kids will hate in 5 minutes. Would love to be proved wrong.

You read all the comments actually discussing it, right? Not just the_debaser's?

Not only is it a load of ropey mini games but it takes ages to unlock them all.

You had to use the Wiimote motion controls for a lot of the games but then you had to plug in the Nunchuck between games to drive around. So at least you won’t have that nonsense to contend with.

Eerie - I just had a conversation about Go Vacation less than 2 minutes ago irl.

It's one of my very favourite WIi multiplayer games; a real hidden gem. Great news that it's coming to HD and hopefully the Switch will iron out the 2 player framerate issues of the original.

Sounds good for a Wii game.

(I also got excited when I first saw the tweet and thought it was a Wii Sports Resort sequel.)

I have no idea myself. Could be crap, could be surprisingly good despite appearances.

Thanks to a heads up from @deKay when it was going cheap, my Switch has been pretty much a Golf Story machine for the last few months.

I'm around 18 hours in and on the snow level. The game has been immensely enjoyable with lots of great humour. I think I'll be ready to play something else when I do finally get to the end, but this is been a fantastic experience.

I bought Thimbleweed Park when that was discounted, so that's my next game.

Thanks again @deKay!

I've been playing Golf Story the last few weeks as well, very enjoyable except I got to the final course last night and the difficulty seems to have ramped up massively, excessively so I felt.

Finished every other course in first place but in this one I finished last and was something like 20 over.

Put a bit of a dampener on the game for me, will attempt again but hoping it doesn't put me off finishing.

I got stuck there too. I genuinely can't remember if I ever finished it.
